Are you interested to become a Healing Tao Instructor?
Welcome to the wonderful path of sharing the Tao, the Natural Way to health and spiritual wholeness!!Healing Tao USA is eager to train more Instructors in the Taoist movement, healing, and meditation arts. We feel this is one of the most worthwhile things a person can do with their life — empower others to become more healthy and live in greater peace, harmony and balance. Michael Winn was one of the first Senior Instructors in the Healing Tao.
There are many “methods” available in the modern Tao marketplace. But there are very few complete “systems” that guide your growth for an entire lifetime.
Healing Tao USA offers a direct and natural path to fulfilling both your worldly and your spiritual destiny. It focuses on what is practical and most effective. No dogma, no gurus, no hierarchy of priests, no “master” title allowed in the Healing Tao USA system. A wide variety of trainings that let you focus on what suits your nature best. Movement or meditation, healing or self-defense – it’s your choice, after you cover the basics.
Healing Tao USA is a 501c3 religious tax exempt organization.T aoism is both a religion, practical Way of life, and a spiritual philosophy. Certification as instructor does carry religious ordination privileges if you choose to perform weddings, birth blessings, funeral services, avoid vaccinations, seek conscientious objector status, etc.
Winn founded the Healing Tao Instructor’s Association (HTIA) serving North and South America in 1991 at the request of Mantak Chia. Healing Tao USA (HTUSA) is the HTIA’s most active member – over 250 instructors certified. Both the HTUSA and the HTIA are a 501c3, non profit, instructor-owned, legally independent of Mantak Chia and the Universal Healing Tao (UHT). UHT is a spinoff (or “child”) of the HTIA, which developed the original Tao instructor certification standards. .The UHT mostly serves Europe and Asia.
Both the HTIA and HTUSA accept hour-credits from courses taught by UHT instructors. Overseas students may also join directly the HTIA or HTUSA to get their many benefits, low-cost overseas dues ($25/yr) and more democratic, instructor self-governed organization structure.
