I was contemplating on the fact that our genes have Energetic factors to it like Chi and Shen levels. I was also contemplating about how we alchemicaly can affect our genes. We seem to work up the center channel balancing and harmonizing as we go. Are we working on the jing, chi, and shen levels of our genetic code as we progress. Do we have energetic genetic memory of past lives. I feel that we do. I also thought is was funny that the scientific community calls 90% of our genes junk becuase they do not produce protein.
July 6, 2006 at 11:50 pm #15411I just wanted to make shure poeple know I am not shure that genes have a chi or shen level. I also wanted to make clear that My feeling is that genes work as a way of storage and creating of the vessel. I was Contemplating on how our work might be perfecting the vessel through working with the energetic level of our genes.
July 8, 2006 at 3:27 pm #15413Hi Dog,
As I have come to understand it, our genes hold various patterns that can be chosen and brought into play.
Some things/traits get chosen and others are not. Genes are not determining this themselves, but are turned on or not by some greater awareness. The book I mentioned, The Biology of Belief, by Bruce Lipton talks about this.
Our greater intelligence is making those choices.
I am sure that there are many ways to make changes in what the genes are doing, but not sure that it’s necessary to try to change the genes themselves. My experience with meditation and growth says that I ought to allow the lifeforce to decide what needs to be changed, let IT direct the alchemy, rather than me trying to determine what will work because I know that my personal focus is linear and quite limited but my lifeforce is all-inclusive and wholistic and theefore has the complete perspective needed from which to make a good selection. So I will hold a focus on an issue or a feeling of where the energy wants to go at that time rather than try to make, say, my specific genes change, or my liver, etc. I have become very sensitive to how much “force” I use.
Although I think certain topics like whether or not genes have a chi and shen level is interesting, I do not think it really matters in terms of whether the issues and energies get transmuted. There’s only so much we need to understand about this process to have it work for us. To much “understanding” actually gums up the works. It’s clearly more about aligning with the natural process that wants to take place. (Sometimes I think that that’s all the free will we really have- to choose to align with what wants to happen, or not.)
But if communicating with your genes is what you are really doing when trying to understand if they have chi and shen levels, then I think that is a different story. That is “relationship building” and opens doors for change.

July 8, 2006 at 7:12 pm #15415Thank you for sharing your experience. Thank you for your concern.
I am new to the idea of my intent affecting energetic levels of my genes and in doing so increasing my life, or accessing past life information. It is just a little glimpse of how the magician does its trick.
May we all serve and receive all things from the meaning.
