Shows zodiac arranged so Sun and Moon ruled signs of Leo and Cancer are at top – ie the alchemical marriage and coupling of King and Queen in the top bedchamber.The alchemical view is a beautiful symmetry around Sun/Moon: The Sun and Moon ruled signs midpoint is 0 Leo. If the signs are arranged with this point at the top you have Sun and Moon in bed at the top and then the signs proceed down each side with first Mercury ruling the 2 signs either side Gemini/Virgo, then the 2 Venus ruled signs of Taurus/Libra, then Mars ruled Aries/Scorpio, then Jupiter ruled Sag/Pisces, and at base Saturn ruled Capricorn/Aquarius. Each of these pairs arranged along the alchemical-union axis is the day or night (yang and yin)expression of the planet. The caduceus is the oscillating movement back and forth. The outer planets are an ‘octave’ up with Neptune (gate to spirit) at Crown, Pluto (deep core of soul) below and Uranus as energy body linking spirit and soul.
