So tomorrow will be the last time I’ll be on the list for
a week or so . . . I’m going on another retreat.Since we are heading into Spring Break, I’m heading out
Thursday afternoon for a long drive, and then will arrive
back at the hermitage for 5 days of internal work. No
internet; no cell phone; just myself and time to dig in
deep. Lots of qigong, meditation, and some hardcore cultivation. These things are incredibly hard, but so wonderful too.
It’s a time of hard processing, of releasing, of accelerating
great internal changes . . . and doing so in an environment
of pure peace, solitude, and tranquility.Upon leaving, I’m going to get back into the car, and drive
down to Asheville to take Michael’s Fusion 1 workshop–with a
short day of break in between to make the drive less rushed.Forget the beaches of Florida–this is my kind of break.
In the Tao,

closer than LA, but it’s an 11 hour drive for me
minimum to Asheville. I, of course, envy Julian
for being right in the neighborhood practically.Of course, being within a long day’s drive means I
can skip taking a plane if I do make the jaunt–which
actually I don’t mind so much–you can
always treating the driving as an opportunity for
some reflective time (provided you maintain focus on
driving of course 🙂Are you coming down to NC this summer?
Peace,
StevenFebruary 27, 2008 at 9:26 pm #27691Wow congrats on the new girlfriend; I can understand
wanting to visit her in that case!I wouldn’t be surprised if there were something down
there, HT-wise. I don’t know about the specific location
in Brazil, but–although I could be wrong–I seem to
remember Michael W. saying something about teaching
a Lesser Kan and Li workshop down in Brazil, so who
knows. Maybe he can give you some info.Best,
StevenFebruary 28, 2008 at 3:39 am #27693It will be nice to here from your experiences with fusion and the rest.
Good voyage.
