I have been practicing Chia’s Multiorgasmic man for quite sometime now and was able to draw up energy from down there to my head using solo cultivation. Then one day, this energy in my head felt prickly and tingly.
Everyday I am feeling this electricity in my head. It moves constantly, specifically the two on each side of my head like small wiggly worms going up and down depending on where my eyes look. It is beginning to bother me so I have been trying to bring the energy down to my navel but I am not sure if I am making success.
I have been advised that I have excess yang and have to ground it. How is that done?
Is having prickly chi in my head normal? Or is it harmful in the long run?
Thanks for reading.
July 8, 2008 at 6:32 am #28662Hello TheSeeker
It´s not good to do the practise of the big draw up to the head without collecting it down at the navel!
Keep your head cool and your feet warm is a taoist saying.
Also to do this sexual practises without good grounding is dangerous. It is also necessary to do exercises like the inner smile six healing sounds and others to ballance your feelings doing exercises with sexual energy. The reason is that sexual energy are expanding everything that is you, so if you have imballances in your feelings for instance the added sexual energy will increase your imbalance. This is not pleasant.
Michael Winn the hedmaster of this forum never teach the sexual practises before you know the fusion of the five elements, for the same reason as above, I think.
Keep on to hang with this forum, I think you have excellent possibilities to get good advises from here on how to manage your situation.
Stop the big draw for the moment and all sexual practises to begin with. To have ejaculations is good for you at the moment.
Some quick advises to start with:
Do some hard exercises like jogging regularly
learn to root yourself with qigong exercises, perhaps Iron Shirt from this system.
Learn to take down your energy in the front channel and store it in the tan tien.
Learn wenting of energy from the head to the feet
I think the six healing sounds also are good for you beacase they are cooling of some energy.
I hope the others comes with more detailed answer to you, beacase I think you should be wery careful and you need some help right now, then it will be alright for you soon if you take the advices seriously and learn some balancing exercises.
Good luck.
I have to stop right know.

July 8, 2008 at 6:35 am #28664Look at the discussion on energy in head at the practise forum.
July 8, 2008 at 4:42 pm #28666Sexual energy is like slow moving liquid cement. If it stops
moving it can freeze up like concrete and you can have great
difficulty getting it to move again. You really don’t want to start moving sexual energy around until
you’ve opened up certain energy pathways–you could create problems
for yourself otherwise. In other words, stop drawing sexual energy up into your head like
you are doing or you will be sorry. You really need to learn the Six Healing Sounds, Microcosmic Orbit,
Grounding, and Fusion first BEFORE moving sexual energy around. In the meantime, check out the Practice forum for the posts on
getting energy out of your head. For general grounding, doing Deep Earth Pulsing or Breathing up
and down through your core channel while connecting to the earth
in a comfortable standing posture would be good.S
July 8, 2008 at 8:39 pm #28668Thanks ya’ll. Yeah the energy is still there and I am not panicking.
What do you mean with Fusion? Fusion of Eight Channels? Fusion of Five elements?
July 8, 2008 at 8:42 pm #28670And what is grounding? And rooting?
Are they the same?
July 8, 2008 at 9:54 pm #28672Fusion of the Five Elements . . .
Part I is emotional alchemy to give tools for working with
the emotional body–emotions make sexual energy more volatile
Parts II and III open the 8 Extraordinary Vessels–vital
energy pathways in the body.Really the only things that will help get the energy out of the
head are:1. Grounding
2. Opening up the front channel and trying to bring the energy down it
3. Time–sexual energy is hard to move once it gets stuck.Steven
July 8, 2008 at 9:55 pm #28674Where do you think I should start?
July 8, 2008 at 9:58 pm #28676Grounding means lowering your consciousness down into your dantien,
out of your head, and connecting with the chi of the Earth.Rooting means energetically connecting your physical structure down
into the Earth. So they are very similar concepts and are often used interchangeably.
Best,
StevenJuly 8, 2008 at 11:32 pm #28678I have found in general men will approach sexual practices out of a book especially, to be the yang form. Most do not do the yin form which I find safer, and since it is harder for most men I really recommend it. If solo, make love to your self. Touch your self like you want a lover to touch you. Relax and open more to your acceptance or unconditional love if you like. Let the orgasms radiate where needed opening up emotions, and different parts of the body that might lay dormant. You may find you have problems trusting and opening up, you may even feel the resistance. Just rest with that, accept it, it will change. Do not clamp up but open up, if you ejaculate fine, just lose your self in unconditional love, the multiple orgasms will come. If you have a partner loss your self in their eyes, and open your heart.
Before sex I would recommend asking for help from any taoist immortals, and spiritual guides that are willing and able to help guide you through your love making session. Hold the intention to use the sexual practices to gain greater unconditional love balance and harmony.
I am glad sex has ounce again been the gate way to the TAO. You may start in your pants but end up in your heart.
Also side note for solo practice I have found. Porn is false yang(stimulating but with costs, not holistic), and is very attractive to very watery(introverts) types, and men in general. I have tested it and found that even with guilt gone it is false yang and is to much stimulus. Along with the physic garbage and the sexual energy leak. I have tested it at every level and found it not to be healthy. But nothing to feel guilty about. Most will naturally stop later down the road in the health tao system.
I would start with fundamentals dvd and cds they are located on the front page. You can also come to a fundamentals course live in ashville later this year.
hope that helps
Chi in I am out

— If I do some simple meditation on a grassy field using the techniques from the free ebook in meditationexpert.com would that be considered a form of grounding/rooting? If not, what’s the name of the practice specifically should I learn which is a form or grounding/rooting?
Is exercise like jogging and playing basketball a form of grounding?

July 9, 2008 at 2:02 am #28684Weird. Sometimes I sneeze. I have a feeling this is something like a “chi sneeze” like sexual energy trapped somewhere in my nose that my body help me put out by sneezing.

The question is whether or not you are connecting your consciousness
into the earth. If everything is up in the head, then you are not
grounding.>>If not, what’s the name of the practice specifically should I learn

Qigong Fundamentals 3 & 4.>>Is exercise like jogging and playing basketball a form of grounding?
Not usually . . .
These activities–when done typically–don’t have you focusing your awareness
on making a strong connection with the Earth.
You could add grounding elements to these activities by adding in awareness
to your connection to the Earth, but activities expressedly geared toward
this purpose is more effective.>>”Parts II and III open the 8 Extraordinary Vessels–vital

HOWEVER, Qigong Fundamentals 2 is more focused on the front and back
channels and would be a better source for this.Steven
