You’ve both found it amusing to insult this site and sincere posters with the same pornographic cartoon.
This site is no longer your private locker room.
You are welcome to post your trash on taobums or elsewhere.
I tolerated the low brow aspects of the cyber community here for far too long.
I have come back to the site to change it tenor and cultivate an openness for honest seekers, including women. Your personal disrespect for female sensibilties is not welcome here and makes a farce of your talk about virtue.
Obscenity is not tolerated on this site, in word or image. Nor are personal threats of any kind.
I am not interested in having further discussion with you until you’ve both posted an apology.
Three strikes are you are out. This is warning number one.

March 13, 2005 at 4:09 am #33313 STRIKES BURN IN HELL, ACCURSED TROLL!!!
SHIT SCREAMING!!!
YOSHIO!!!March 13, 2005 at 5:06 am #3333Thanks for thinking of us, but Tao Bums are not trash collectors. We only seek to pick up useful and beautiful things we see along The Way. Also we try to wander into a public restroom and rinse up occasionally. :p
And we are very friendly and respectful to women. I have never tolerated otherwise.
I think you are taking a good stand.
Sincerely,
Sean.March 13, 2005 at 8:58 am #3335Posts/messages can be deleted that are inappropriate. Posters come back from any new address. What we need is someone who is here more often than James McConnell, who can delete inappropriate posts.
I don’t agree with Thelerner and Golden Sun that we should just integrate it. I can feel that there is an ugly side to every beautiful being (that is, the picture in posts 923 and 939 reflects the ugly side of Plato and Max, the state of their inner female).
But, there are appropriate types of communication that are culture specific, and without them a community cannot exist. In some cultures they just kill you, in others they take your clothes and send you into the desert, in others they just break the windows in your business, in a bar you get punched in the face etc.
I am not sure what we do in a virtual community like this. I think that I’ll just stop reading posts from Plato and Max – 4 parts trash to 1 part resource is not worth my time.
Until things clear up here, I’m heading over to Taobums which Plato and Max have already left, and which Sean says that he will keep appropriate.

March 13, 2005 at 1:18 pm #3337Unfortunately, the picture intended kept being replaced by one of our friends. The problem solved.

March 13, 2005 at 5:10 pm #3341This is not your site or my site. We didn’t start it, we don’t keep it up or even really support it. We just use it to write our Graphiti.
We can make suggestions, but quite simply this is Michael Winn’s board. If you want to be here, simple, play by the house’s rules.
Peace
Michael
On the other hand, its kind of nice to see 20 or 30 posts a day versus 3 every other day. Its great to have more input from Michael Winn and experienced practitioners. On the third hand, a descending spiral always gathers speed. :)>
March 13, 2005 at 10:42 pm #3343Everyone here thinks you crossed the line, and instead of owning up to it, you post arrogant nonsense like that.
I just responded to one of your posts below where you talk about the value of merit. Where are your good works? Where is your meritorious acts? Where is your virtue?
Are the pictures you and your buddy plato posted compasionate? Are they Virtuous? Is your post above?
You two are both over 30 and you’re acting like a couple of 15 year olds. Be a man.
March 13, 2005 at 10:47 pm #3345It put a smile on my face.

Though I might not have taken such a line-in-the-sand-approach, I certainly can’t fault you for it. Plato (at least) has been practically begging for this for a while. And I appreciate the stand you’re taking.
Whatever the result, I hope that you keep up your involvement in the forum.
thanks,

March 13, 2005 at 11:20 pm #3349Metta to all.
Good by.
March 14, 2005 at 3:40 pm #3351Sean,
I did not mean to demean Taobums in any way. I apologize if my comment appeared that way. I think the site looks great and is beautifully organized, certainly better than my discussion page. I appreciate the hard work you’ve put into it, and am delighted to have you as one of the hundred flowers blossoming on the Tao.
And I do intend to reply to the question you posted earlier. Give me time to catch up on a few things.love, chi, blessings,
MichaelMarch 14, 2005 at 5:20 pm #3353… and thank you for your kind words about TaoBums. It feels good to have your blessing.
Sincerely,
Sean.March 14, 2005 at 10:51 pm #3355March 14, 2005 at 10:57 pm #3357Last Sunday from the afternoon til night we had a bunch of people ‘chatting Live’. It can be dizzying at times, but being able to communicate in real time is the next best thing(uh well top ten) to being there.
Sean is fantastic to put so much work into the site. It would be great to see people typing to each other at Live Chat next Sunday.
Peace
Michael
