note: just raising the question of color frequencies and healing. All Taoist five element work and much higher inner alchemy involves color frequencies. The Dinshah work documents this. – michael

July 7, 2015 at 9:11 am #44527This is very important information and should be made more readily to the masses . . . S
July 13, 2015 at 2:54 pm #44529My purpose here is greater than the wonderful Dinshah system. My understanding of Light and Colour differs from Dinshah who agreed with the conclusion of Sir Isaac Newton that colours are somehow reduced from light via prismatic action. I agree with the poet-scientist Goethe who demonstrated that Newton misunderstood what he was seeing, that colours are formed via the interaction of light and darkness. The structure presented by Dinshah actually confirms in my mind the colour theory of Goethe over that of Newton, though Dinshah was a tireless defender of Newton.
-http://spectrochrome.com/introductionMy suggestion would be to get Swami Niranjanananda Swami’s Dharana Darshan.
It’s clearly one of the better Bihar School of Yoga books.
It’s very rare and unusual presentation of those practices to which for example that kind of Hindu type of diagrams below refer to.
Let’s see if it comes through.

Ps. Sorry for my broken English.

July 13, 2015 at 3:21 pm #44531Basic colour breathing is simple. Choose the colour you wish to project on yourself and place slide/s in a lamp/projector assembly. Some people use kinesiology to test for the colour they need at the time. DinshahÂ’s Axioms are another way to derive a choice. Lay down or sit in the colour and breath deeply. Feel the colour filling your body, or direct the colour to the area you wish it to go to. This is purely subjective, and has definite effects on the consciousness at least, physiological effects can follow (and hence the claims of efficacy of the Spectro-Chrome System). While some will argue that colour has no effect upon the body, try telling that to yellow jaundiced babies who are regularly prescribed blue lights in hospitals around the world.
-http://spectrochrome.com/introductionWestern research is now proving what yogis have known all along: Breathwork can deliver powerful mind and body benefits. Your body breathes on autopilot—so why worry about how to inhale and exhale when you could be mastering an arm balance? For one thing, breath control, or pranayama, is the fourth of Patanjali’s eight limbs of yoga. For another, scientific research is showing that mindful breathing—paying attention to your breath and learning how to manipulate it—is one of the most effective ways to lower everyday stress levels and improve a variety of health factors ranging from mood to metabolism. “Pranayama is at once a physical-health practice, mental-health practice, and meditation. It is not just breath training; it’s mind training that uses the breath as a vehicle,” says Roger Cole, PhD, an Iyengar Yoga teacher and physiology researcher in Del Mar, California. “Pranayama makes your entire life better.”
-http://www.yogajournal.com/article/yoga-101/science-breathing/Sorry but I don’t have anything to do with that Bihar School of Yoga.
But they have quite much interesting information already in books.
But their main weakness is being fixed to mission building.
Only individual counts, not group.
In my opinion.

July 13, 2015 at 7:01 pm #44533In ancient Greek mythology, ambrosia (Greek: ἀìâñïóßá, “of the immortals”) is sometimes the food or drink of the Greek gods, often depicted as conferring longevity or immortality upon whomever consumed it. It was brought to the gods in Olympus by doves, so it may have been thought of in the Homeric tradition as a kind of divine exhalation of the Earth. Ambrosia is sometimes depicted in ancient art as distributed by a nymph labeled with that name. In the myth of Lycurgus, an opponent to the wine god Dionysus, violence committed against Ambrosia turns her into a grapevine.
-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AmbrosiaTesla Motors was created to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport. If we clear a path to the creation of compelling electric vehicles, but then lay intellectual property landmines behind us to inhibit others, we are acting in a manner contrary to that goal. Tesla will not initiate patent lawsuits against anyone who, in good faith, wants to use our technology.
-http://www.teslamotors.com/blog/all-our-patent-are-belong-youIn 1925, Dinshah was prosecuted for transporting a 19-year-old girl — his secretary — across state lines for immoral purposes [4]. (Perhaps he had been overexposing himself to scarlet light.) He spent four years in jail. In 1931, he was arraigned on second-degree grand larceny charges after a former student complained to officials that the Spectro-Chrome did not perform as promised. In defending himself, Dinshah trotted out numerous satisfied patients, including — incredibly — several physicians. In fact, a surgeon, Kate Baldwin, claimed that she bad successfully treated glaucoma, tuberculosis, cancer, syphilis, and a very serious burn case with Dinshah’s device. The government had experts testifying that the Spectro-Chrome was merely an ordinary lamp and that any successes were due to the placebo effect or the natural course of the ailment. Ultimately, the prosecution could not prove the intent to defraud, and Dinshah was found not guilty. He went back to selling more Spectro-Chromes with claims that he had been vindicated “without a lawyer. . . in open court . . . against an array of University Professors” and that “Spectro Chrome Metry is established for all time.”
-http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/spectro.htmlThe Copyright Law of the United States tries to encourage the creation of art and culture by rewarding authors and artists with a set of exclusive rights. Copyright law grants authors and artists the exclusive right to make and sell copies of their works, the right to create derivative works, and the right to perform or display their works publicly. These exclusive rights are subject to a time limit, and generally expire 70 years after the author’s death.
