EMDR and the Universal Healing Tao
An Energy Psychology Approach to Overcoming Emotional Trauma

I found this practice useful. Previously HT had a video dvd called “reprogramming” which was similar. Basically a variation on the creation cycle of fusion 2 done slowly with left and right eye movement to help process memories held in the organs, then left and right eye movement at brow. HT practices of 6 sounds and orbit as well to cool down and smooth the flow. There are some current videos in which M Chia is shown doing this, just as a basic sitting practice. After doing it intensely for a while to gain detachment on a few memories I was drawn back to doing more (lots of) chi kung, fusion 1,2 and 3 and orbit practices.
Interesting wrt that comment i made on MW’s post about vision : that the “mind” has developed evolutionarily to process vision in the survival environment, and so by doing EMDR (looking left and right) you are attempting to disconnect the “mind” from its habitual behaviours.
So the eyes are an indirect way of working with the “mind”.
