Sorry, but this is not an antisemitic comment; if somebody is interested about East or South Asian meditation in traditional sense one doesn’t need to know necessarily anything about these western mnemonical methods.
One can find all important elements from there.
Only if one has very much extra time one should make some research for example about Freemasonry, which would seem to be firmly a dying tradition.

In the early days they would visit pubs and wait for groups of aggressive lads to cause problems, but anyone posturing would be a potential challenge. If a gang of skinheads or bikers was seen, they would immediately get excited. What group of thugs would turn down a fight with two or three men?
