Is anyone able to advise on the works of hua ching ni.
Is his background predominantly schollarly, or do his works stem from practice and experience?
thanks mat
Master Ni comes from a long family lineage of Taoist masters. he has written many books and taught many back in the 1970’s and early 1980’s. If your looking for deep Alchemical formulas really doesn’t have anything for mainstream public. His movement set’s such as eight treasures, Dao-In, Harmony style Tai Chi are very good, & embrace “less is more” his family has always emphasized spiritual harmony in your practice, & for you to embrace the Tao on your life Journey.
I think anyone interested in Taoism or on a soul journey there is alot there for you to explore, like anything his approach might not be for you. When I was a teenager way back Master Ni & Alan Watts were about the only thing you could be exposed to that was worth reading in English.
On a ending note I recommend any of Alan Watts audios or the old TV shows from the 1960’s. It still has a fresh flavor that you don’t see much more. It’s good to see Master Ni’s name pop up he has contributed much to the arts in America. I attached his foundation link for you!
Happy exploring…Snowlion
