First of all, I read in your personal log, that you are a Healing Dao instructor. So, if this is still true, your previous statements about your beliefs are contradicting to the system, where Healing Love practices are IMHO an integral part.
If that is not the case (that you are an instructor), claiming that semen retention as Mantak Chia teaches might lead to impotence and prostate gland problems goes against the systems beliefs because Mantak Chia has stated many times that the Healing Dao practices, being done correctly and under the supervision of an instructor, promotes health, and the health of your prostate gland and also heals impotence.
So, to conclude there are a lot of people here that embraced the system because it gave them a new way of experiencing sex, and love and especially sex and spirit. So, as a moderator of this forum I would like you to come forth and declare that you no longer support the Healing Love practices. For me it is important to believe in the benefits of something before you give advice to someone about it, otherwise how can you lead someone to the right direction?
For me Mantak Chia’s work was liberating. And I want to become an instructor to promote his work, especially the fact that he unites sex and spirit in very practical way.
Now, for those who feel that impotence and prostate gland problems might be the result of fanatic use of these practices I would like to share my understanding. Always follow your intuition to what is god for you and your body and you definitely will come upon the right solution to yourself, even if the medical society goes against what you feel is true for you.
BTW, Steven what does superstar mean, do you imply that only a master like Mantak Chia can not be harmed by these practices and his students might? Is he is a super-being, and if yes, why did he started teaching these techniques in the first place when they were potentially harmful (which I personally believe this not to be the case?
Than you for your time….
August 5, 2012 at 5:16 am #39643August 5, 2012 at 5:14 am #39639Thnx, Steven I have already got the CD’s and DVD’s of Micheal Winn’s courses and he amazed of how insightful he is about the nature of sex from a Daoist pespective…
P.S.: Please, stop apologizing for why you are not practicing the Healing Love cause you make all of us, that are practicing it, feel bizzare for praciting it, because it feels like you are hiding something about the method that we should know. So why do I say that? Because out of what I feel I want to ask you: Is it safe to practice the Healing Love techniques or not and why. Sorry, but it is the second time you are bringing up this and it makes me feel uncomfortable (no offence).

August 4, 2012 at 12:44 pm #39631Was I too forward with the matter? Hmm, well I thought an open conversation about the issue would clarify things about the different kinds of orgasm that exist in the Daoist tradition. So, I hoped that we could share some infos about it. Anyway, I would like to apologize to anyone I offented for coming to forward about the topic, I know sex is a very delicate issue that needs to be approached with care…
August 1, 2012 at 7:39 am #39617Thnx Steve for your patience in answering my questions…:)
August 1, 2012 at 7:18 am #39613Thnx Steven, yes it is true that the terminology is confusing. I am curently working with a Healing Dao instructor, and by discussing certain things with different Healing Dao instructors I got different answers and things got little bit confusing. By the way what is the wind-down period?
August 1, 2012 at 6:24 am #39607Thnx Zoose. This is pretty much what I have been doing. I would go a little closer to ejaculation and then draw the energy up my spine and say ‘Woo… This is much better than ejaculating’. In my opinion though it is not a bad thing not to ejaculate, as long as you practice drawing your jing chi away from you genitals. So, I realize now that Power Lock (and this is not the three fingers Zoose, but the clenching thing you do with your buttocks, fists, jaw and PC muscle), only causes me pain in my prostate so I avoid going that far, beyond the point of no return. I just posted this question because I wanted to know how others are practicing Healing Love. So, the thread is still open guys for more input…;)
August 1, 2012 at 3:25 am #39601Sorry, just read it again, and yes you had an energetic orgasm not an ejaculatory one, it is morning here and I just got up to run some errants and at the meantime I took a peak to the forum. So, sorry for rushing ahaid…:)
August 1, 2012 at 3:22 am #39599May I assume Steven that you started ejaculating again, hehe. Sorry I didn’t want to cross the line that to drew when you stated above that you ‘don’t do the Healing Love techniques for personal reasons’…:)
Anyways, thank you for the clarification and yes I agree with you that the book has many controversional infos and from my own experience I had to realise that through my practice.
For the record did you stimulate your penis when you where doing the Cool Draw to heat up the Jing or did it occur on it’s own? And I assume that when you say orgasm you mean an energetic full body orgasm not genital/slash ejaculatory orgasm?
Thnx again, your input was very insightful…:)
July 31, 2012 at 1:00 pm #39623Sorry, but had to post this, I only posted once, not three times… and again sorry…
