Let me assure you that those are nothing more than fancy stories made up by the media… Cultivation practice is not fancy religious belief or something unique to the east… There have been cultivation ways in the West too.. The Gnostics believe that one’s true self( inner christ) is chained by the agrregate of Is – Jealousy Anger Hatred Lust Covetousness and that one suffers the consequences of karma accumulated by the actions the “Is” have committed .. they believe that when those aggregates are eliminated through cultivation one’s inner christ rises up in its ineffable glory( this is called achieving Buddhahood in the east)
.. The gnostics donot believe “Jesus Christ is not human”… They believe that Jesus, through cultivation,achieved christhood( Buddhahood)… just like Gautama became Buddha Gautama through cultivation… Jesus became Jesus Christ after completing his cultivation… Does that mean Jesus / Gautama are not human?? Falun Gong is cultivation practice.. and not belief in any god…. cultivators fully understand that they can progress in cultivation only by eliminating those things like hatred jealousy lust pride covetousness completely from their own minds… not by praying or begging or believing in any god…
I request you to understand the Great Cultivation Way of Falun Dafa yourself by understanding it first hand…
kindly listen to these nine lectures… and try out the 5 exercises ( which can be learned by video instructions that can be downloaded from the website http://www.falundafa.org ) for a week and then you will truly understand and cherish Falun Dafa… All I can say is that the oppurtunity to cultivate the great Law comes from Great Virtue and a strong Pre-destined relationship…

You absolutely must not “believe” what I say or what someone else says and refuse to believe your own notions too…
But I request you to inquire analyze and rationally understand….
Everything is explained very clearly in the nine lectures.. kindly listen to them completely… I’ll just say it is a DaFa of the Buddha School. If you were to just listen to the lectures and try the exercises for a week I am sure you will truly understand What Falun Dafa is… And then you will cherish it.. it is believed in Buddhism that even to come across a true cultivation way is immense virtue and one can obtain a Dafa ( Great Way) only if he has a great Pre-destined relationship… You donot have to believe what I say but I think there are many here with Strong Pre-destined relationships to cultivate the Great Law… let not our notions hold us back from exploring and rationally understanding… let us not see things with pre-concieved notions…

The Communist Party must vanquish Falun Gong How could it be possible that the Marxist theory we endorse and the materialism and atheism that we believe in cant vanquish what Falun Gong propagates? If it were true, wouldnt we become laughing stocks?
-From a letter written by the then President of China, Jiang Zemin to Senior Communist Party Pfficials on April 25 1999I find it quite funny when the CCP’s media says that 1400 Falun Gong Practitioners have died as they refused to take medicine. Let us for a moment assume that the CCPs claim that Falun Gong practitioners dont take medicine to treat dieases is true According to the Chinese governments own 1998 statistic the number of people practicing Falun Gong in China was over 70 million….. the mortality rate(per year) in U.S. (where medicine is much more advanced than in China) is 8.25 per 1000 that is 577500 in 70 million. And the 1400 figure seems to be cumulative over five or six years. In 5 years that is 2.88 million people should have died with the medical care you get in United States. What is even more surprising is a significant majority of the practitioners were old people.
In fact, there are many doctors and medical scientists who practice Falun Gong

The next speaker was Dr. Alexis Genin, Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Paris, France. He shared with the audience his views on Falun Gong from a westerner’s perspective. Dr. Genin talked about his experience with Falun Gong and how it has greatly improved his life. He said that as a scientist, he was very skeptical about “spiritual practices,” but after practicing Falun gong for a month, he found that he could objectively and scientifically validate the positive effects that it was having on his life.The final speaker was Dr. Lili Feng, professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Feng presented her current research findings that show why Falun Gong practitioners experience such profound health benefits. One of her most striking discoveries was that the cells of long term Falun Gong practitioners have an average life expectancy that is five times longer than normal human cells.
Something else I wanted to point out is that no concept of membership or anything of that sort exists in Falun Gong. If a person cultivates his mind nature, learns the exercises using the books and videos available on the website and practices the exercises during his free time, at home, he is a Falun Gong practitioner. As simple as that. Nobody deals with money donations or otherwise.
The Book Falun Gong states:
When propagating Dafa and teaching the exercises, no Falun Dafa disciple is allowed
to collect a fee or accept any gifts. Anyone who violates this rule is no longer a Falun
Dafa disciple. The Book Falun GongAs a practitioner, the first thing you should be able to do is to not fight back when you are beaten or sworn atyou must be tolerant. You should always be benevolent and kind to others, and consider others when doing anything. Whenever you encounter a problem, you should first consider whether others can put up with this matter or if it will hurt anyone. In doing so, there will not be any problems.
