Hi,
I know this thread has been long paralysed but jimbo wrote something above I got very interested in (about handling Kundalini):
“But on the spiritual path it actually doesn’t mean much. In fact, it can even be an obstacle, because 1. the crashing bliss can interfere with your ability to cultivate silence in meditation, and 2. if kundalini awakens before your pathways aren’t somewhat clear, it can be a rocky trip indeed (delaying your spirtual practice while you recover). There are ways to handle both issues. I’m not here to evangelize, so I’ll refrain from linking to the system I’ve found (extraordinarily) effective. I’m here to learn more about the Taoist stuff, which I also think is extraordinary :)”
I would very much like to be envangelized! 🙂 Which system did you find extraordinarily effective to deal with this kundalini issues? It would be of GREAT help for me too.
Thanks and I hope you are there somehow!
Helder
Great guys, thanks for all the tips.
Swedish Dragon, that was some good advice. I agree, balance is key and we must listen to ourselves, keep being aware of what is happening, and strive for that balance. Like you say in this matters things are never simple and straightforward so one has to find out what works for oneself.
Feels good to read some different perspectives on it, not only the radical “no ejaculations, period”. It is indeed a complex issue, but I believe each one of us can learn to find what works best for them. And as you say also it may chnage from time to time and season for example.
The point about porn you make is very important also. I believe the way we approach sexuality will in large measure affect how it will be cultivated int he body. Feelings of true whiole body pleasure and love are much better than excessive abuse of the sexual impulse through porn for example. It is that balance that may be hard to get but – like everyhting else – is probably a matter of practice!
I will look into Fusion also but I am still on the fundamnetals so that may take a while. I feel that the fundamental is to cultivate balance throughout, no matter what level you are in. I believe that then thingds will start to fit in together, slowly, as we keep aware.
Again, thank you all for the input!
