Thanks for the good grace and courage in revealing your inspiring personal experiences.
Is the Immortal Child like a real separate being that exists in you – I’m thinking of the taoist alchemical images of the immortal foetus growing inside the practitioner’s belly – or is it more of a metaphor of your changed state of being? Or is it both?…[Read more]

Nice summary of the Shentong view and the doctrine of the Union of the Absolute and the Relative.
The lamas Ive met have all been exceptional and rather like Huashan in their presence your soul is naked with nowhere to hide.
The Kalama Sutra with it’s exhortation to freedom and enquiry has much in common with the free approach to…[Read more]

I think the differences in the mind approach of Buddhism and the body approach of Taoism are more apparent than real. At least, that is, with Tantric Buddhism and its close cousin Hindu Tantra. Of course there is the very real difference of Buddhist Refuge but the premises remain fundamentally the same: the notion of the inseparability of mind and…[Read more]

Fumnily enough I’ve been studying your work and RJ’s for a while and had noticed some lines of connection (mention of dark goddess and planetary beings in your ‘Three Treasures of the Tao’ handout and RJ’s description of an wuji type exercise in his book ‘The Miracle Tree’) but it wasn’t until I read the handout that came with the Primordial Chi…[Read more]

All due honour and respect is given to the Earth:
Quote:
The core of the earth will no longer be experienced as a place of fiery Hell and trapped beings, but as the open, luminous sacred center of
an embodied Heaven Within Earth…Earth as a planet, and the body for each of us will become for humans the conscious clearing house and…[Read more]

Hi Matt,
Thanks for that. It sounds as if she’s really lucky and can open up naturally. I’d like to be that but have to rely on all the complicated things! One day though …
Best to you,

Hi Matt,
Please would it be possible to share your friend’s way of just letting energy in when it’s needed? Sounds fantastic.
Thanks a million! (as they say in Ireland)

Hi Tom,
Tummo is an advanced completion stage practice in Vajrayana Buddhism and so yes one has to be in that particular tradition to be taught it. The texts and traditions are full of dire warnings against people practicing it without the proper authoristaion of a vajra master. The very least that can happen they warn, if it is practiced…[Read more]

Granted there’s nothing deterimental in loving consensual sex of whatever flavour. Using whips and chains doesn’t ‘harm’ the aura but one’s proclivities are displayed in the energy field. It’ll certainly be a lot less embarassing if it were just a bunch of nonsense.
I remember years ago being gently but pointedly advised to be mindful of my,…[Read more]
