Thanks, Steven. I’ll do that search.
From what I’ve discovered so far, whatever else I do I think that I’ll give the Dragon Gate (a.k.a. Dragon Door) Qigong a try. So far I’ve found ads for three DVDs teaching it, by Jiang Jian-ye, Doctor Gordon Xu, and Daryll Mitchell.

Thanks for your insight, Wendy. A major spiritual connection for me is to Kuan Yin (in Buddhist or Taoist tradition, it matters not). And one of her 33 forms is “Long Tou Guan Yin”, “Chief of Dragons”. Indeed, my favorite image of her shows her standing upon a dragon.

I find there’s also a video of this Dragon Gate Qigong taught by Dr. Gordon Xu of Shanghai. He was taught and given transmission of the lineage by Master Yi Chien Liang 1895-1986, nicknamed “one flower that faces heaven”, a Taoist monk from the Wan So Temple (10,000 years Longevity Temple).

I probably shouldn’t even use the English word “pearl” here, since it immediately brings up an image of a smooth, round pearl. 🙂
