if you want to work on your middle tan tien I suggest having a child or two. It is wonderful, and depending on how you make money they may not take that much time from practice especially if your partner is into cultivation as well. I think it is easier getting to the oneness of a relationship if there is a child. Also you can bathe your children and partner in the radiance of the heart as pactice and it will really make a difference in their lives. I’d say 1+1+1=1!

Great links thanks. I don’t practice tumo although I am facinated with it. I think I’ll find a balanced version of it here in the alchemy, an with the help given at alchemicaltaoism I see the connection between the tantric and taoist. I respect the Tibetans a lot but I don’t want to enter into that kind of student teacher relationship. I have enough to practice with now and with three kids and work I am plenty busy.

But I was interested to know the relationship of jing as one of the three treasures to the development of jin or internal power. It doesn’t seem like all these masters who have real power do sexual practice, or do they all do it and keep it secret?

All economies are driven to the lowest common denominator and in the meantime the constitutions of originally progressive countries are being marginalized. we cannot affect a one world spirituality and community by just disolving borders without people on mass scales embodying a corresponding consciousness. If you don’t believe this war is waged go work in the construction industry, depend on its economy, then come talk to me.

Rudolf Steiner talks a lot about the guardian of the threshold and pretty much says that if you don’t encounter it in your path then your path is not complete. In my estimation the po soul is like the lesser guardian of the threshold. The lesser guardian is the shadow objectively encountered as an image and mirror of what needs to be overcome in oneself. The greater guardian is an objective meeting with a real human being with fully actualized potential.

I wonder how it would have been if you spent proportionately longer in concentrating on the dan tien and its relevant points, than on those in the head and upper front of the body. Possibly you would have had the dan tien as the foundation of the MO a lot sooner.
I think you’re right. I see how that could be a full time job. I think though that their own actions are spells, and we can all read the writing (spelling) that will bounce back. wasn’t there something in there about by their fruits ye shall know them. That’s the beauty of the system.
