Hi
I have been pondering similar things. My experiences are similar to spongebobs in that, I’m sure like most people I have good chi days and bad chi days. I know that on bad chi days when I feel disconnected from my inner resources many hours of practice would still not really get things going (I know, I’ve tried!). However, on the good chi days, 5-10 mins of simple practice gets me to quite a deep level, with each part of the practice unfolding sequentially.
I think there are two things going on here for me. First, regular practice is important in the beginning in order to open the channels and overcome all the internal inertia and grot that we have accumulated through our lives. This takes us to place where we are in a strong relationship with the chi field which can then inform the unfoldment of our practice and even advance us to the next level if we are ready and open to it. This can be a self-sustaining process.
The second point is that regular practice at any level of accomplishment is still important as helps us maintain and deepen this internal relationship. However, I now know to only engage my practice when I feel my chi field come online. As I mentioned at the beginning, trying to get it to come online can be frustrating and often disappointing.
I wonder if anyone else has experiences like this.

January 30, 2008 at 6:47 am #27186Thanks for doing this. Much appreciated. Is it more or is the content of the CD’s a little different to that of the tapes? I have the tapes and some of the things you have outlined in the indices don’t seem to ring any bells!! Might just be me!

January 28, 2008 at 10:17 am #27169Thanks for both of your input. I was impressed by some of their theoretical interpretations of the teachings of Jesus and others, yet felt uncomfortable with regard to the practices that they are outlining. I was particularly concerned over the somewhat zealous teachings on conservation/transmutation of sexual energy. Another thing was the fact that the only true teachers are those that you have passes an initiation with on the inner planes and that all teachers in the material world are essentially false prophets.

I also wonder what the ramifications are for the dead person who agreed to have his organs donated. Does this mean that part of his soul team is now residing in another body and that he will be unable, in spite of having done all the different practices, to reincarnate “whole”.

September 6, 2007 at 2:42 pm #24238Hi Alexander
Thanks for that. I really appreciate you reminding me of being in a space to differentiate between stuckness and process. If I look back on my process with this work, I do see a real sense of change and transformation along with times that seemed very held and contracted. However, just relaxing into those spaces does allow the flow or the solution to present itself.
I guess I am can still get trapped in that space of looking towards an outside authority who has all the answers, without fully recognising my own inner wisdom.
Love and smiles

April 6, 2007 at 8:40 am #21906Thanks for this Barry. I really appreciate your warmth and compassion. I am already aware that this is quite a difficult journey for all concerned. I can feel myself really pulling away from my mother as a response to her condition and I don’t like that.
I would really love to understand the underlying energetics but I guess time will tell.

April 4, 2007 at 4:47 am #21843I think this is an incredibly helpful discussion. I really agree with Sophia in that we have to establish our relationship with the earth first before we can begin the process of moving in the other direction. I think the bottom line for me is that we each need to unfold our own process in our own way.
I have certainly worked with people who are incredibly disconnected from their physicality and their emotions and yet have a strong awareness of energetic and psychic phenomena. I see this as a real problem in that unless the body is really earthed then these more powerful energies can literally cause a fuse to blow.
However, i have also met people who are too in their bodies and the nature of their physicality and are unable to expand out into more energetic sensation and processes.
What I am trying to say is that I think we need to start with the body because that is how we can most effectively connect to the earth, root and centre ourselves and then expand out into our energetic essence. To me this is the nature of jing converting to chi.

April 3, 2007 at 10:25 am #21835Hi
Thanks for all the feedback. I think I need time to fully digest what everyone has been saying. My personal feeling from my own practice at this time is that IA is a high art and requires a certain grounding and opening in the physicality of the body before you can work with the energy body in an embodied way.
I know from my own teaching that a significant number of people are quite disconnected from their bodies. My feeling is that if these people are introduced to techniques that gets them into their energy body too soon i.e. before they have established a good sense of grounding, rooting and physical mind/body integration then it can cause their disconnect to get bigger. Consequently, they have a well-developed energy body but their is a split between this and their physical body. This is probably magnified if people try to rush through the higher formulae without taking the time to really work on the fundamentals.

January 7, 2007 at 8:48 am #20271Thanks for that snow dragon. Not really quite sure what to make of it!! Can anyone help with this question? Thanks
December 28, 2006 at 4:56 am #20027Hi Snowlion and Alex
Thanks for the replies. I really appreciate your insight and clarity in this. What you say really resonates with my core. I guess it is really easy to forget this at times.
I have been studying the Healing Tao on and off for about 15 years, primarily with Mantak Chia. However, it is not until I started working on Michael’s material that things really started moving for me. I guess everyone works in different ways.
Best wishes to you all
