You don’t have to attack Plato’s book, Michael. There is no spoof blurb.
Or is it one of your attempts to get a free copy- just like with Bill Bodri’s books? All you have to do is ask for it without going around with unrelated questions.

<<<I read so many books, and thought so much, now everything is misery and I am confused and frightened.>>>
You are right- everything is misery, and recognizing that is a good start.
But you need to understand where the misery is coming from. In fact, Buddha spent his whole life trying to find an answer to the same question. After he did, he…[Read more] -

<<<This is essential in fulfilling one’s worldly destiny – but not with a goal towards accumulating merit.>>>
Doing good deeds will accululate merit – that’s all what I was trying to say. This statement is twisted into as assumption that I said you have to do meritorious deeds with a purpouse to accumulate merit. You do it because you have a…[Read more]

<<<Is focus on accumulating Merit as your ticket to Enlightenment the best way to achieve that? If you want to work from the outside in, rather than from the inside out, its a start, much better than focusing on hurting others.>>>
This statement is totally misleading. Merit has to do with Prajna wisdom, or True Form Wisdom. You can’t reach it…[Read more]

Some brave human had to take a BIG gamble to create the first lineage, as they had no one to follow….
It was a long time ago. Now, we have quiet a few paths that proved to be successful.which brings us back to issues I have raised previously – there is no lineage that does functions beyond the principles of the Life Force. They are ALL…[Read more]

What I was referring to is, primarily, a celestial lineage. That is, in a “heavenly” realm, a group of beings maintaining an enlightened configuration. The fact is that its extremely difficult “down here” to really resolve our confusion. Traditionally, aspirants (and Teachers) have allied themselves with heavenly support groups that provide the…[Read more]

Thank you for your comments.
It’s unfortunate that every time we start this type of conversation it always turns into Taoism vs. Buddhism topic. As for your comment down below about Master Nan, I do not see it that way. Nor do I see the separation between taoism and buddhism. The wall we built eventually will be broken. All it takes time,…[Read more]

There is a misconception going on that followers practicing stillness avoid ‘reality’ and become the outcasts of society. I don’t know where this all is coming from, but the whole principle of following the Buddhist path is to help your brothers and sisters to live richer, happier lives. A lot of masters became famous poets and composers. You don…[Read more]

Instead of feeding more food for your hyperactive mind, I would recommend the same thing that I apply to myself every day- clear your mind, relax your body, let your breath slow down, sit down and meditate.

Nei Yenh can not be understood by the mind only. And so the discussion, just like the last time, cannot happen.
And just what is the benefit in your view of gaining merit, how do you gain it,and who recognizes it?
After practicing higher alchemical practices for so long, why do you still have these questions? It’s very clear what you are…[Read more] -

Hagar,
I appreciate your comment.
The experiences that come with meditations based on one-pointed concentration and emptiness are different for each individual. They do indeed bring a lot of ‘sfuff’ out. and you do need a qualified teacher to help you. Letting go of things is the hardest thing one can go through- and that’s why visualization…[Read more] -

I’m sure we had this discussion before. So lets not repeat it again.
It’s very simple:
If you meditate correctly, all the activations and channel openings will happen on its own. N-a-t-u-r-a-l-l-y. Emptiness meditation is a very good way to do it.

If you read the rest of the debate on this forum, you will note my question: if Nan’s work is so definitive and exhaustive, why doesn’t it even MENTION the use of inner sound current, which is at the core of higher inner alchemy work (and evidenced in many widely available taoist texts).
The reply from the devotee, blinded by his love of…[Read more]

If you don’t want to buy it, you can go to thetaobums.com and ask them to lend you the physical copy of the book.

He sure sells a good game! All this, “The secrets of being very rich, YOURS for just $20!”
If you knew how much money he was making from all his non-meditation related projects, you wouldn’t be making this kind of comment. People don’t attach too much value to $20 programs, but they would stop and think about buying the same for $2,000. Sadly,…[Read more]
