On your original post- I really apreciate what you posted and keep it close to heart. I see that original Taoism and Buddhism are not too far apart in their methology. It is sad that through the centeries both paths became so structured to see that it’s not about techniques, alchemy, physical body, Buddha or emptiness. It is about letting go. You…[Read more]

why this text uses three different terms for stages of consciousness, called only emptiness by you.

…Once you have realised these three,
    You observe emptiness!

    Use emptiness to observe emptiness,
And see there is no emptiness.
When even emptiness is no more,
There is no more nonbeing either…

Does everything you say come from your own experience? Is your meditation really progressing that well?

    Yes.

are you parotting other people’s words, however sincerely?

If you have to ask this question, no answer from me will be satisfactory.

Yes, but it’s not about briefly focusing on or bringing the energy to dantain. I was talking about a meditation technique where you hold your one pointed concentration on one physical point in the body for a long period of time- 30 minutes and up- on a regular basis (every day).

It may help you with the idea that empty mind is not the only way up the mountain.

Empty mind is a first step to see there is no mountain. When even the idea of “empty mind” is gone, you will be on the right track. Until then, we are just playing semantics. But we both like these spiritualized games, don’t we?
