Yes, Michael. That is really a “hook” and one that I have seen several times at work throughout my short life. And to be honest: I better die unenlightened than fall for such a hook, that has bad intention behind it.
But: Li Hongzhi does not say that his lineage & school is the only. He says that there are others that follow a true path and…[Read more]

Hi Michael, as I am not that experienced in Alchemy yet: how does one differentiate between what is really going on and that which is just a byproduct of the mind’s ability to create?
“Tuning” into a spiritual lineage could be just the mind cheating you to believe you have tuned in. This is no criticism, just an honest question. And: don’t you…[Read more]

Although I did decide not to walk “that” way for several of the reasons mentioned, I do have to say that I think Ken Kohen got some of the “concepts” wrong. I read that article somewhere and thought: Sorry man. You haven’t really read the material.
Regarding Falun Gong being bad. I do not know if the Falun people in China are different to here.…[Read more]

Hey. I am in healthcare too and have learned similar lessons outside that specific area. Personal life experiences can quickly destroy believe in trust and we can be happy if we can keep up integrity and learn to differentiate between what makes sense to trust & what not. It is the trust reason I went away from Falun Gong (did not even stay there…[Read more]

>Usually what happens is the “master” makes the student feel inadequate, inadequate to handle their spiritual, emotional and physical affairs. Sometimes overtraining so that the students are in a weakened state. Then he gets them to trust in him and his ways.<
I very much know what you are talking about. This must happen in such a "system" and…[Read more]

Thankx for your input on it. I have come across Falun Gong in the past and IT IS FREE. One can download the practice books for free and the training videos. I have my own reaons for not continueing on that way… the reason I brought up the subject is because of the topic “lineages”. Why, if not due to some incompatibilities between “their…[Read more]

I allow myself to post this here (although already posted on the taobums webpage…). There is this question that “bothers” me, if it is really that good of an idea to mix practices… just in case you have not heard about Falung Gong, here is something Master Li says (Falun: this is some kind of energy body from the master that clears & rectifies…[Read more]

A happy Thank You to all for sharing their thoughts and insights. But there is still a gap being left:
With regard to:
>>What they do is basically make the organism stronger, healthier and more able to withstand things (e.g., fight off weak poison, heal quicker from a bone break, etc.), but of course genes, environmental factors and access to…[Read more] -

Thankx for the response… maybe I should read all the messages and find out what they have “against” Taoism… so: all that talking about immortality is nonsense? All those healing stories about cancer vanishing, fiction? You see: I am circling around a little bit: if cancer can be cured, why not liver poisoning?
still not fully…[Read more]

Hi Matt,
thankx for the welcome. Although I get what you say I still wonder: Chi Kung is said to heal even severe diseases and that by practicing to a high level that one leaves being influenced by the worldly 5 elements… so nothing should have happened to them…?
