I definately love doing the same thing over and over too. I never used too but since my meditation has opened my eyes so to speak i can really enjoy doing some very basic movements over and over.
I started doing aikido a few months ago and i love doing the same sword movements over and over it’s like strong meditation. But if i don’t use…[Read more]

My thought is that it is kind of like conditioning. If you always see scarey movies they don’t scare you as much any more. If you always watch porn you don’t get as excited any more, and if you always see strong violence you aren’t affected as much any more.
So… If you experience extreeme sexual episodes then lesser ones don’t excite you as…[Read more]

Yeah i agree the books are a little confusing over these points. I had practiced it for quiet a few years on and off and i guess over time it just gets easier. I never really did the power lock exercise with the finger on the perinium part i thought that was a bit arkward and a bit forceful on your body.
The way i practiced and still do is…[Read more]

Mmm i’m not sure, probably the birth chart. I’ve never heard of day stem
As far as i’ve read in TCM everyone has an element they are most controlled by, and that causes them to be suspect to different types of illnesses. Everyone has all the elements in them, but one seems to be stronger than the others. Thats unless you can overcome it by…[Read more]

Yes the smoking thing you say at the start is right, of course it is. It’s a great vent of anger. It’s not supressing the anger, it relaxes you and the anger vanishes. It’s a medicine. I smoke maybe 2-3 cigarettes a month for this reason and maybe another 15 a month for enjoyment when i drink. I like it, i am sure it won’t give me cancer such a…[Read more]

Ok i understand what you’re saying. But… i feel there sound be some balance and i think the analogy you use is not 100% right.
I think that this universal love is that nomatter what happens to your body, it is not ‘you’ and therefore you are not attached to it so much. Therefore if your walking in the dark room when you bang your shin or you…[Read more]

Wow i’ve never had this kind of things happen in my practice. My practice is always simple, without these types of dream like experiences. Like i get old memories from just out of the blue pop up into my head and think ‘golly, that was ages ago, why did that just pop into my head for no reason’ but no snakes or animals or that kind of stuff.…[Read more]

Yep i rekon talk to a doctor, if he says no problem…. Next stop qigong for 2 weeks and see if it goes away. If it does well you know it is qigong. You can either keep doing it and hope the problem resolves it’s self or if it bothers you that much stop doing qigong. Or just try a different style of qigong.

I think reading and studying about qigong and medicine are useless for your own benefit. i’ve been there read heaps and heaps and found the best ways to care for myself according the to the tao and it was all rubbish. There is a reason why all the ancient texts are so poetic, it is because they give some secret but it is not to the point so that…[Read more]

Yeah i understand you fully with your wu-wei explaination…. Just taking a break has always been my weak part. Knowing when to take a break is now easy because i do tasks, watching myself and i know when i need a break but i really enjoy the stress, just not what it does to me.

Do you teach qigong? Where do you teach? Where did you find your students?
I feel i am ready to teach, i’ve practiced countless hours over 6-7 years (for 1 year i did 4-7 hrs a day and felt i’ve worked it all out myself and worked myself though all of my mistakes. and just put up a sign out the front of my house a couple of weeks ago but so far…[Read more]
