    dear forum and tao gurus:

does anyone have advice for treating tmj and jaw fracture issues?

the person was in an accident which fractures a portion of the bone near the ball and socket

I have been looking over CHI NEI SANG II booklet from Mantak but it looks like it might be a bit forceful given the damage

also saw CHIA’s BONE MARROW NEI KUNG book, this look more along the lines… the person lives close to Asheville..

i was thinking some targeted pressure point work might help everything sligh back into place and reduce swelling/tension

also may be something to help with tension overnight?

Other than doing some *very gentle* tapping around the area,
I don’t know that I would do much in a physical way while the
area is still healing. It would be better I think to just do
a lot of Inner Smile to the area and encourage the body’s natural
processes to heal it on its own. Some bone breathing exercises
could be combined in with that, all with the energy of love
and support to the earlier trauma.

The only cure I’ve found for TMJ is using a wire hitter on the contracted jaw muscles. But certainly not if there is a fracture. Try getting some sacral-cranial work to release the neck and jaw.

    haven’t heard of these before..

    any suggestions on the sacral-cranial?

as far as I know the bone fragment broke off (is gone?) and now it all follows tmj symptoms with suggestion for surgery of some sort..

i was thinking steaming would help overall for inflammation stress irritation

    Wire hitters are standard tools
in Iron Shirt 3: Bone Marrow Nei Kung

If you purchase the Bone Marrow Nei Kung book
by Mantak Chia, you will find some fairly clear
instructions as to their use. It is a book
    I recommend for purchase.

As to the other questions you asked that relate
directly to Michael’s post, I’ll let him respond to that.

    Cheers,
    Steven
