Michael,
Im looking at purchasing your CKF #2 DVD, I know you recommend getting both Audio and Video but my current budget allows for one and I
want to get started straight away. If I start with the DVD will I be able to successfully be able to learn the microcosmic orbit from just the DVD.
I do plan on getting the Audio later on down the track.DC

June 18, 2005 at 1:24 pm #5979wise choice to get both, as dvd does not include seated meditations.
But be warned of danger of bypassing ckf 1: You need both five phase and yin-yang methods to achieve functional energetic balance. Other wise you get some aspect of your heart-mind (five vital organ spirits) sabotaging your orbit practice. Its like two wheels, they balance each other.
so suggest you get back to it another time. Or at least get the 5 animals video, it is sold half price as intro item.
Sorry for slow responses here – my phones were down for a week, and then was in transition to Dao Mtn. summer retreats, always a period of chaos.
michaelJune 19, 2005 at 5:58 am #5981You say “be warned of danger”, will there be any negative effects from going staright to the orbit to begin with. In a previous post you said some people can go straight to the orbit with good results, I definately plan on getting the CKF1 DVD in a month or so but I wanted to go straight to the orbit as I didnt understand Mantak Chia’s book and thought I could learn it via you home study course.

June 19, 2005 at 7:57 pm #5983I decided to shell out and get the CKF1 as well so that I am not missing
anything in my practice. My question is do I do CKF1 for a period of
time and then move onto CKF2 or do you do them both at the same time.
I just need a road map of how to progress through ..DC
PS. Im very keen to get started with your home study courses
