Here’s a question … are the old ways best and necessary, or are we actually able to be more evolved and dispense with all that old stuff ?
I remember being in an Osho ashram and a woman was coming on to me, she wanted to have sex with me, playfully she revealed what she was thinking. I suppose she wanted to “explore” herself. But I looked her in the eyes and asked her “why ?”. Did she even know me, did she want to, or was I simply an object to be made use of ?
That wiped the smile off her face.
And if we had had sex, who would be having sex with me ? Her ? Or her ego ? Or her dream ? Or her new age philosophy ?
In the UK God has largely been thrown in the bin. Are people happy now ? Are they going anywhere ? Do they live noble lives ? Do they achieve anything ?
Not really, I can’t see anything. They seem obsessed with their doctors, house prices, pensions, immigrants.
There is not even the slightest clue of a “higher goal”. Is there any art or music to speak of? No.
Nothing, it a desert of relatively wealthy people dithering about waiting until they die.
When God is dead, so are you it would seem.
Perhaps a great shock is required to wake people up, and one conveyor of that shock is guilt and conscience.
Are we able to “snap out of it” and awaken right now ? it’s a nice thought, but I see no evidence of it ?
In India, ancient pilgrimmage places are charging 35 US DOLLARS a night. It seems capitalism is destroying Indian spirituality as well.
Perhaps I pay too much attention to the world.
Perhaps if I just ascend I can forget about the monkey people. Are we evolving, or devolving ?
Is sex yoga really about anything except an unreal fantasy, repression and materialism ?What is it these people really want, isn’t it some sort of mass gyrating orgy orgasm ?
Okay, well why bother with the yoga ?
Perhaps the yoga is included to delay the disappointment. -
