I’ve been looking at Gary Clyman’s site (www.chikung.com) and note that he makes reference to a technique called “Condensing Chi”, whereby Chi condenses inwardly while one is breathing out. I don’t know if this is taught by Healing Tao. Has anyone tried Mr Clyman’s DVD’s on Tidal Wave Qigong or Mind Light Nei Kung?

Gary’s technique involves inhaling down the front channel, then exhaling and focusing (and possibly contracting?) on the lower dantian. I know some people who’ve used it and liked it.

In general, Gary, a street fighter from chicago, tends to “over do” whatever he is doing, i.e. he is (or was) an excess yang type. Very good-intentioned, generous, effusive; I liked him personally when I met him years ago, but over the top yang.
