Funny, I cook a lot of traditional Japanese sweets (tea
ceremony etc) and this information is important for cooks,
you find it in cookbooks.1.Start of Spring (approx. Feb 5th)
2.Rain Water
3.Awakening of Insects
4.Vernal Equinox
5.Clear and Bright
6.Grain RainSpring Earth season is during the 18 days before the Start of Summer
7.Start of Summer (approx. May 5th)
8.Grain Full
9.Grain in Ear
10.Summer Solstice
11.Minor Heat
12.Major HeatSummer Earth season is during the 18 days before Start of Autumn
13.Start of Autumn (approx. Aug 7th)
14.Limit of Heat
15.White Dew
16.Autumn Equinox
17.Cold Dew
18.Frost DescentAutumn Earth season is during the 18 days before Start of Winter
19.Start of Winter (approx. Nov 7th)
20.Minor Snow
21.Major Snow
22.Winter Solstice
23.Minor Cold
24.Major ColdWinter Earth season is during the 18 days before Start of Spring
The chi of each season spirals into earth and reemerges transformed into
the following season. When I am breathing the creation cycle I dip into earth between each shen.

September 12, 2012 at 11:36 pm #39884The 18-days between the seasons
September 13, 2012 at 3:36 am #39886>>>They are the four animals and their months: Ox, Dragon, Sheep, Dog.
Which months?
Please clarify.Thanks,
StevenSeptember 13, 2012 at 12:31 pm #39888This has the basic knowledge. The usage of 18-days in transitions is slightly different. Dont have time know for details. Maybe later.
scroll down to months, notice animals between seasons are all earth animals: ox, dragon, sheep, dog
September 13, 2012 at 3:13 pm #39890They basically span the two solar terms prior to the
start of a new season, from what I can see from the
chart.Qi,
