Studying people is a formal practice in Bardon system. Teachers are courageous for they step forward to be studied. My respect.
Kumar teaches16 part nei gung. However nei gung is intro into alchemy. This is full system, of which 16 elements are part of.
He teaches Ba Gu Zhang. He starts with Water gate of Ba Gua Zhang. The instructor level certification can resonate with bellow eight levels.
Description bellow shows that his inner and outer dissolving are yin and yang phases of Winn inner smile. He teaches from water gate, and does not progress teaching outer dissolving beyond emotional and mental (?) body.
He accepted disciples (see articles on his site). Disciples are sign of closed door system.
Bellow are quotes or passages or summary.Internal Martial arts, p.88-90:
Eight stages of Kumar Ba Gua Zhang
Stage I
basic physical coordination, visualize and physically experience some kind of fighting application for each part of every technique
Stage II
the spinal and joint pumps: absorbing and discharging power : smooth, rapid
Stoge IV
storing an opponent energy as you twist one way and release the stored energy back to the opponent instantaneously by reversing the twist.
(post-birth practices above)
(pre-birth practices bellow)
Stage IV
use the natural energies around you: the air, sky, stars, trees, water, people: use and clearly separate each of the eight-trigram energies
StageVI
Yin or very amorphous energy techniques are emphasized, heart and spiritual effect (contraction or profound)
Stage VII
Heart: your motion and energy will simply move as the earth and sky do: their energy does their mov ing for them.
Stage VIII
?Inner alchemy, 8 chapter, Great Stillness, p.202,203:
The goal of internal alchemy cannot even be attempted while people are focused on the need to feel good about what is inside themselves.
traditional practice is to initially take all the blockages in your first six energy bodies and release them in much the same sequence as the dissolving methods of the water school. The fire method, however, accomplishes this by creating tremendous physical heat in the lower tantien. The purpose of this heat is to incinerate your bound internal blockages. (This process can take a long time, just as the fundamental dissolving methods can.)
As the bulk of the gross traumas, attachments, and so on, are being cleared out, the heat in the lower tantien becomes extremely fierceenough to cause profuse sweating.
Eventually, burned-off gross matter naturally turns into a ball of light and drops down into the perineum, just as, in the water method of meditation, the encrusted material dissolves, leaving only the unadorned gem.
From here, the process of internal alchemy called nei dan begins. The ball of light commences to circulate throughout the microcosmic orbit. There are specific alchemical procedures for each place where the ball arrives.
Gradually, the ball of light links all the energy centers and channels in the body, transmuting them into Consciousness, which then begins to expand, body by body, until it encompasses the whole of the universe.do this without having first released the encrusted material around Consciousness itself… blithe
