you know, my life seems to go in 3 year cycles. major shifts, major growths come from these cycles. Any astrological connection?
June 24, 2006 at 2:17 am #14969Thanks for the praise, Mat. Happy to be a part of something bigger than myself.
“I turn 30 on July 28 this year. I have been noticing some changes in the past 10 months………*****(If you think you are asking a lot of questions of yourself now, just wait a few more months..)***** whoooaaa……your not kidding!”
Ha, ha.. Good ole Saturn the teacher. In medieval days Saturn was thought to be the bringer of hard times. But now we understand that it is our unresolved issues and resistances that cause us our pain. (We understand that now, don’t we? smiling…)
Restructuring our beliefs, determining what’s important to us, the foundation of our lives, that’s what a Saturn return is for. You make a lot of choices that will last a long time and get to review the situation in depth every seven years approximately. It’s a lot like getting to build a new house. You decide how you want your structure to be, how big the rooms will be, what shape it will take so you have a good space to work in.
I’ll bet all that physical stuff you were going through is part of it. How’s that been lately?
“Initiate the smile, go with it, flow with it, feel the response comming from deep within, then breath into that response and let it become your state. Because of course, that is your reality anyway.
Babies have a beautiful way of reminding us of this with their pure smiles.”Very cool. The whole idea of response. All this an inter-action that rekindles our true nature. Good work, yourself, mate. -A+
June 24, 2006 at 2:20 am #14971Yes, I know those places well. I used to live in the Grove Park area on Howland Rd not far from the Charlotte St Pub.
But what I asked you was WHEN did you live there. I was there for eight years until June of 2002. -A
June 24, 2006 at 2:21 am #14973None that I know of. Other things could be responsible for that.

June 28, 2006 at 3:36 pm #14977I just remembered that I wrote a short poem about the forest once. I wrote it after I spent about an hour in the forest around midnight. Mostly walking and thinking, but I also did ba duan jin next to a river and under a moon. I didn`t do anything really special or something, but when I came out of the forest, I felt like a was quite high. π
I was also talking to a friend of mine who`s afraid of the forest, especially at night, the day before.
So from that, this came πFOREST
Alone in the forest I walk,
To the trees under the moonlight I talk.
Very calming is their speech,
And many things they love to teach. They teach anyone who hears,
Anyone, who knows no fears.
Learn fearsome things you might,
Scary, that you may wish to flight.Of things of beauty they also tell,
Of things, that are not so fell.
They speak, of a singing dove,
Which chants about immortal love. What you bring with you in the forest you find,
A feeling that is fearful or one that is kind.
If you have doubts donΒt go alone,
so fear wont turn your heart into stone.Hope you like it.
