    I don’t know that I would agree with that!

    Gnosticism typically means the belief that physicality
    is a punishment and that “through knowledge and esoteric wisdom”
    one can “escape” from this prison.

    In everyday usage, gnostics typically believe that
    secret (non-canon) teachings of Jesus provide such wisdom.

    I ws inte Universal Gnostic Movement for 10 years. It’s pretty far removed from the ancient gnosticism and their alchemy has a lot of errors and shortcomings in it. Basically a fundamentalist movement now based on their “avatar” Samael Aun Weor.
