I know this Chi Kung DVD is for the Lesser Kan 7 Li practice. However, I wonder what the other benefits of it might be?
August 6, 2013 at 1:47 pm #41046Well, the Lesser Kan & Li practice itself has a lot
of applications and benefits alone.
It helps resolve psycho-sexual emotional issues.
It helps resolve Water/Fire, Inner Male / Inner Female issues.
It resolves Yin-Yang tension.
It generates Yuan Qi, which is neutral unprogrammed qi, that
like Stem Cells (but the energetic version) can polarize or program
itself into whatever is needed by the body / infrastructure of the
body-mind.
The steaming process fills the body with this Yuan Qi and flows
into the channels, steam breaking up blockages and breaking up all kinds
of stuck patterns throughout the body. The form, as taught by Michael, is a way to do LKL via qigong, so
consequently you can get all of these benefits through doing the form.
Also note that during the setup phase, when you do the Creation Cycle
aspect, you are really doing Fusion 1. Thus you get all the benefits
of Fusion 1 while doing the form also . . . namely the harmonizing of
the 5 vital organ spirits, and balancing your emotional landscape. However, the “Gods Play” form, with all its neidan imagery and intention,
was to my understanding added by Michael. Originally, I think (in
scaled-down form) the “Gods Play” form was just a medical qigong form
that Michael took from B.K. Frantzis, and Michael supercharged with neidan.
So beneath all the other aspects, the form is a self-medical form as well.Like all such self-medical qigong forms, the movements that are done
help to move and circulate qi (post-natal) throughout the body, which
serves to balance and regulate any excesses or deficiencies, whatever
they might be.So, if you want to put it all together and ask what the form can do . . .
In short, the benefits are unlimited.Qi,

Also Steven, belated congratulations for joining the roster for the Healing Tao retreats instructors! That’s like getting called up to the big leagues, working along side the soon-to-be-immortals…
