Hello
It´s time for me to change my health care plan again.
History going back the two latest steps shortly:
Step 1
I tried to do more things in the direction of adrenal fatigue recovery. There where some things that I did not do well. For instance I had problem with reducing my cofe intace and some other sexual issues as well.
Step 2
I did try to increase my efort and constructed a system when I did count numbers for each time I for instance took a cup of cofe and doing good thins as well. In the beginning it seemed to be a good idea beacase I could do better for longer periods of time than in the step 1 above.
In the long run it was not good. I had the same problems as in step one and there where also some other drawbacks. If I got positive numbers then I could drink cofe for instance for free, so to say.
Step 3
I have to change my perspective. I will do a new plan. There might be some reasons why the other plan is not working. I haven´t made up the new plan jet, but it will be a new perspective. Somthing like the following.
I look into the follwing direction:
I have to make some major changes in my life. One reason why it is so hard to follow the plans is beacase I have a wery long traveling time to my job. I will start to search some job nearby. That will probably help me with my tiredness and then it will probably be easier to follow a health care plan.
I will stop counting numbers. I will try to follow the old plan but in a much freer way. Try to live healthy on a daily basis, but allow me some bad habits from time to time, not to often.
I will save money to free my teeths from amalgam, which is a poison for the adrenals.
The new basic idea is to look up from the details in the old step 2 plan and to add some bigger issues in my life and try to fix them first.
I might add some chi nei chang also. That is from a dream I had many years back, where mantak chia in the dream did gave me such a advice.
I might also add a herbal treatment from a TCM healer in my town that I like to try. That plan is the same as the old one, but I have to wait for a better economical situation, before I can start it.
This is just a short sketch of a plan, but it will take form the following months.
The fight goes on

October 16, 2010 at 6:14 pm #35493Yeah, I think you’re on the right path here. I’ve had adrenal issues on again/off again. One of the biggest things is, for a man, not too much ejaculation. I think Winn’s foundation courses are amazing, and after them, the sex course..those all would be great. I’m currently on the foundation course and I can see huge changes happening in my body.
I know it’s expensive to see a TCM doc sometimes–let me ask you something..with your adrenal issues, do you tend to feel more hot or more cold? Really, what are your symptoms that you’re experiencing and how long has this been going on? Also what age are you? I can recommend a few things that really work (for free of course) but I need to get some basic info about your prob. I’m a TCM doc, and, yes, I agree it is much better to have someone there actually looking at your tongue/pulse, looking at your face, hearing your voice, etc. but I can certainly determine some things simply by symptom and what I’d recommend would only be safe tonics and a remedial diet.
Cheers!
October 17, 2010 at 1:47 pm #35495Hello!
My TCM doctor, that I not visit for the moment did tell me the following:
I have lack of general yang
Lack of kidney yang, if it isn´t the same as the above 🙂
Some intestinal problems
Some problems with the nervous system. My symtoms started for about 10 years ago. Then I was in a total mess. My symtoms at that time was terrible:
All the time the worst symtom has been the cold intolerance. Back 10 years ago it was realy terrible. I couldn´t sleep beacase what ever I did I was so cold. Woke up with terrible pain, like torture, beacase of the cold. I moved my bed to a tambure without any windows, extra heat from a radiator, and put away all air coming into the room. Still feel extremly cold. Back then I did swet spontaniously, and when whet of swet, I had to go up to change clodes to not be to cold. I could change clothes about 15 time during one night. Many nights it was like torture untill about 6 in the morning when I eate some food and get some warmt back and could finaly sleep.
I was also wery tiered. I lay in bed most of the day. If I had to do anything realy I was exhausted for several days. If I walked to buy some food, I have to lay down for perhaps two hours before I had the streangth to put the food in the refrigator.
Symtoms today:
Still the cold intolernace is the worst. Today I can sleep when I do all the things that I wrote about above. I never sleep at other places than my own, beacase then I got so terrible cols that I want to kill myself.
If I got some cold during the day, for instance standing for a while still outdoors, then I might not sleep during the night. The cold I got during the day, will stay in the body untill the next day. I found one treatment against this. I do some garlic in warm milk and drink before I go to bed. Most of the times nowdays It helps me so that I can sleep.
I´m still need alot of sleep. To feel well I need to slep about 12 hours during night and perhaps a litle also at daytime.
If I not sleep then other symtoms arrives. I don´t want to do anything but sleep. I get dissy if I walk. Particullarly I am sensitive to walking. Get dissy or realy tiered by it. I can work out harder when I have slept enough though and sometimes also feel good from it, got more enrgy and so. I guess harder exercises builds some yang, if they not are to hard, then they are consuming yang. I got more cold sensitive after I work out.
I have difficulties with insomnia. But I have learned methods to deal with it. I have created my own program against insomnia. It consist more or less of exercises from this system, together with some own exercises. This is one of the things that actually have been better the last year or so. And it helps me alot. I have started to go to bed at 9 p.m every night except some when I have company. That also helps me alot.
When I not sleep. My body start to feel like syrup. Also my mind. I think wery slow and I move wery slow. I have spountanous sweating. I feel dissy. Sometimes my kidneys hurt. Often my adrenals hurt especially if I have been drinking cofe. When the adrenals hurt alot of those mentioned symomes arrives. Sometimes perhaps once in a year, I got terible pain in my kidneys, and have problems with movement. I feel extremly tiered after such an episode. More tiered than others. I more often get owerworked. When that happens I take three days of and sleep perhaps 15 hours a day and not do much but sleeping and eating and some qigong and yoga. Aftar three such days I´m most of the times back at normal.
When owerworked I can be shaky. Often then my hands are shaky.
I get dissy when rising up to quickly. I can get dissy when exercise to much. Two weaks ago I nearly fainted when working out on a cycling machine at the gym.
I feel wery tiered at about 3 p.m when I often go to sleep. I am also tiered at the early night, 7-8 pm. Don´t want to do much at that time. If I not have come to sleep at 10 p.m then it is realy difficult to come to sleep. This was a huge problem before I invented my program against insomnia.
If I drink cofe or tea after about 5 p.m then I can´t sleep. I know about this and realy seldom drink thoose things, but actually it has happened and it has also happened that my insomnia program did help. That is amazing. I have to be happy for the small things!!! 🙂
When I am exchausted I have not much willpower to do all the things in my health care program. It might also be at those occassions that I look at porn from time to time. A habbit I rather want to quite with.
I get better when eating regularly, not to say often.
I have salt cravings and add some to my water, that helps against some of the symtoms. Like shakiness dizzyness and spontanous sweeting.
When I am tiered my body feels wery heavy.
Today I work at about half time, and it works most of the time quite well. When there is periods with a litle more work then I got serious problems though. Then I can´t have the energy to take care about my home and everythings that I have to do. I feel like there is always more things to do than I can handle. Those periods are not good and I try better than before to stop my employer to give me to much to do.
I have described my symptomes in a rather unsystematic way, but as they apeard to my memmory.
The main problems is of course the cold intollerance and the sleepyness together with to litle energy to do things.
I´m wery interested to hear about your conclusions and are happy to hear about any advices you might have. What I have noticed without any conclusions from it is that it seems to be the easiest and most non expensive things that helps me the most.
But also I have to say that I have tried alot of things and it is wery few that helps at all realy, that is one of the most anoing things with this illness. I try try try and try again, but there seems not to be anything that realy helps. Even though when writing this I saw that a few things actually has helped me, like garlic and my program against insomnia.
Time to stop this long thread.
Look forward for your anwer.

October 17, 2010 at 1:50 pm #35497Hello
I think I wrote a bit wrong. The TCM doctor did actually emphasise the yang qi defieciency in the nervous system.
But hes treatment didn´t seems to work. I went to hem for about 30 times or more, but wasn´t at all any more warm from it. But I felt some heat during treatment, even though to a much lesser level that he seemed to have expected!

October 17, 2010 at 2:18 pm #35499I went to my doctor that also is an antroposophic doctor and a homeopat.
He seemed to be a bit confused about that none of hes homeopatic pills seems to have had any effect. We are now going to try a low potency homeopatic medicin made from piggs adrenal cortexes. To stimulate and repair the adrenals. That is a slow treatment and a directed treatment. Before this he has tried to solve the whole deasise, but this will be the new trial.
After a half year or so if this new one doesn´t work then we probably will try to do a treatment with hydrocorisone again. This time one day with four times taking the hydrocortisone, then next day nothing and next day back again and som on. At the same time we will try the armour, which I am at all the time.
I have put a side some money to deal with the amalgam in my teeth. That will be the first new step, that I never have done before.
I also live more spontaniously since I stoped the yang stile treatment of the adrenals counting number and such stuff. I have spontaniously done more physical exercises like western yoga styles and cycling at the gym and gym training.
I have been doing some iron shirt. I feel like I have found a new way of working with my pelvis that is forward tilted. It seems to be possible to let the “tail”
go a bit more in, perhaps due to some four square breathing in the area, that I have done dillgently. I like to hold the hands in front of the navel instead of in the standing three pose. And it seems to give me some energy in the tan-tien and in the back. I hardly ever have felt any energy during iron shirt, just problems with finding the right structure. Perhaps it goes a bit better now.I have been drinking a bit more cofe than during the program. I have been watching some porn about as much as before. I let myself do these things but I try to do them as litle as possible.
I´m a bit concerned about my healing love practises. It seems to be hard for me to find any direction in it for the moment. I have done retention 100 days three times during the last five years or so. Seems to me like I need some dual cultivation, but I am still quite afraid for love. Should perhaps learn to let it in in my life again. How to find the path here?
I do some Breathing to the sceleton and have started to do some sexual practises related to this. Seems to me to be something that might be good to my health.
I do some fusion of the five elements. I feel energy easy in the organs. But are not shore about feelings. If for instance you know that the orange color might be a color associated with bad energies in the heart, are you supposed to create or viusalise that color in your mind to easier come into contact with the negative feelings there. Or is it better to deal with whatever you already feel in the organ and to not think about a particular color. When using the read color to take in postive energy to the heart it feels quite good to start with visualisation and then it like became real so to say. Hmm not shore about this jet.
I have exhausted the yang stile treatment, I could´t come to any results that way. How much I tried I couldn´t realy get any results, I was just frustrated ower all things I had to do all the time. If I had any results that way I could have continued but the results was so tiny compared to the effort so I couldn´t handle it anymore.
Now it feels good to go into a more spontanious yin face. I realise that I have learned alot during the trials anyway. I still try to follow the program, but not as hard as before. Every moment I try to choose the good thing for my health, but if the urge to do the other not so good thing is to strong I follow that urge instead.
In this situation I feel frier to do new things and to try new ideas. I will take some actions in totaly new directions as I already have told you.
I will let myself drink some cofe, but also all the time try to do it as litle as possible and as seldom as possible. If I go to bed early and work a bit less than before and perhaps workout a bit more, the urge to drink cofe might wanish.
Were I go with my sexuality I am not shore about? I have asked one person to coach me with this though. We have not started jet. It might come out something from that new trial to.
Sometimes I feel a bit owerhelmed by the difficulties to try to solve this problem. Sometimes I feel relaxed in my new aproach.
I realy which I could find something that took me at least a bit further, I should realy need that!

October 18, 2010 at 12:28 pm #35501SD,
Keep at it, like you said it is a fight. Though just remeber to make sure it doesn’t become too mental, I should do this than that than that than that, etc. etc. If you cannot change everything at once then start with one thing, ie stop drinking coffee. The journey of a thousand miles starts with one step. Also try to be consistent. Good luck.
Joy, joy.
October 18, 2010 at 1:37 pm #35503Thanks for your encouraging words. Yes I have done it like that before, to consentrate on one thing and stop one thing in a time. For instance when I decided not to drink alcohol. Today my alcohol consumtion the last year is one bear and 4 cl strong sprite.
Even other things have been ok to do. For the moment though I will not be so hard with all the things to eat and so, but perhaps later I find out that I need to be a a bit harder whit it and start some kind of new trials again.
The consistency is realy important. And as I think Mantak Chia also advise people with cronical symtoms, it is important to keep the belief of the possibility to be ok again, that is the motor for the consistency in the health care work.
Yes Joy is important. One reason you get problems with your adrenals is that you have a mentality to only work and not to enjoy life enough. Perhaps I still have some to learn in this area, yes I believe so, but I have also changed alot during my illness and perhaps that is one of the blessings with this kind of illness. You have to change and when you are able to change you will automaticallly be more happy even though you not function perfectly well. So there are realy some greater spiritual learning from all this.
I do not know if it is the practise or something else but I realy enjoy myself as working as a teacher! I think I just radiates joy when teaching and the pupils also get inspired by it, my entusiasm. Basically I don´t think my subjects are so wery interesting, but not unintreasting either. But anyway I love to teach. Feel wery happy about it, except when owerworked, as I mentioned in the other text.

October 19, 2010 at 12:02 am #35507SD,
You are welcome.
I would like to add one thing, whenever you think/feel something like “I will not be so hard with all the things to eat and so..” (the word *hard* stands out for me) there may be something behind it. Try looking at it and do the healing sounds or even better fusion.
PS Try not to drink coffee or beer anymore. If you do then do it with joy and no regret though this isn’t an excuse to do it though.
KEEP AT IT AND BE CONSISTENT. FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT.
Good luck again.
October 19, 2010 at 12:54 am #35509I noticed you said you go to an Anthroposophic MD. Even though I’m from the US, I’m quite familiar with them. There is a oil combination that works quite well (that you may want to ask your Anthroposophic doctor about) which you could spread on your skin on kidney/adrenal region composed of rosemary and formica and then you mix it in with an inexpensive oil, such as castor or grapeseed oil, etc. You can apply it to your kidney region as well as your Kidney 1 points on the bottoms of your feet. It works very well as a warming agent, although I’m also aware of other remedies with cuprum, mustard seed, etc applied topically–those can work very well as well. Anyways, talk to your doctor about any topical warming remedies because they work very well.
Additonally, there are some Anthroposophic doctors here in the states who prescribe herbal mixtures (homeopathic) which you inject into certain areas of your body (such as the lower dantian) and can be extremely powerful. Acupuncturists in China have also been using similar methods, injecting their own herbal remedies into certain acupoints and it is one of the most powerful and quickest methods that I have ever seen. You should ask your doctor about this!
I’m glad to hear that you’re going to get your mercury fillings removed. Yes, I absolutely do think it very well could have to do with your yang deficient symptoms, especially at your age. Typically, we don’t see kidney yang deficiency in people until they are much older than you are, unless there is an issue such as mercury causing hypothyroidism. And, of all the thyroid medications, Armour is the best, as it contains T3 and T4, thus improving your symptoms without giving you all the terrible side effects that synthroid patients typically go through.
Have you had all your thyroid levels checked? If you are not hypothyroid, but do have the symptoms, sometimes they diagnose you as a “subclinical hypothyroidism” case and treat you with thyroid hormone anyways. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!! Oftentimes, in these cases, it is deeper energies which need to be addressed. Patients who use thyroid without having low thyroid levels (not just TSH but t3 and t4 blood-levels) will have ALOT of side effects and will NOT address the root issues, which can be EASILY addressed through certain remedies and inexpensive herbs. If you do have low thyroid levels, however, then Armour is the best way I know of to treat this problem.
If you go back to an acupuncturist, I would recommend that you request moxabustion. Just needles without moxa will not do much for a condition such as yours, from my experience. You can cheaply obtain moxa sticks online or at Chinatown without any sort of license or anything. After igniting it, you would want to hold it a few inches away from your skin–where it is comfortable– and hold it over several points: Kidney 1 (Bubbling well point on soles of feet), Mingmen, and the Lower Dantien. Do this several times a week, and it will make a major difference.
Herb-wise, I recommend Astragalus (Huang Qi) for several reasons. One, it helps in the cases of spontaneous sweating, and two, it raises the yang. Additionally, cinnamon bark warms the kidney yang and has a descending action, warming the feet as well. There is a famous formula in China called Shi Quan Da Bu Wan, it is very safe, and contains both of these herbs in it. One place you can get it is here: http://dragonherbs.com/prodinfo.asp?number=312
That company, although located in the states, has the highest quality herbs on the planet. They’ve also got some more expensive herbs and formulas, such as Deer Antler and formulas containing it, which are extremely powerful! If your budget allows, you could certainly try deer antler products, but I must warn that they are extremely powerful and you should back off if the feeling becomes too strong. But I can’t think of anything stronger if you wanted to try it out. That company also sells a product called Microcosmic Orbit, which is made up of some kidney astringent herbs, which basically help to form the “outer shell” of one’s egg and keep the essence from dispersing all over the place. I have not tried this formula yet with Michael’s practices, but will do so soon and report to everyone how it’s going.BTW, even though it is warming (and cheap) I do not recommend alot of garlic (and spices in general) in your particular case because of your spontaneous sweating. When you sweat as much as you do, you lose alot of life force and this makes your problem worse. For warming, better ideas would be ginger and cinnamon twig (and also cinnamon bark, as I said earlier). These will warm you without causing you to sweat additionally, and the astragalus and white atractylodes in the formula I mentioned will really help your sweating issues.
As a practical suggestion regarding the pornography issue—have you ever considered installing an internet filter on your computer? They make filters for adults which specifically target porn and nudity online if that’s your issue. You might want to look into one of them. They can also send a list of the websites you visited to a friend or accountability partner of your choice, just to keep you honest.
I did have a few other questions for you too:
You said you used to sweat all night–do you ever get a hot sensation at night when this happens? Or in the afternoons? Or is purely a cold sweat? Does this worsen in the winter or in the summer?
Do you ever feel cold sensations in one part of your body and warm sensations in another part (if so where?), or is it just cold all over?
How is your urination? How often do you urinate? Is it clear, cloudy, or just normal?
Are you overweight or underweight, or normal?
Do you have tightness or constriction anywhere in your body? Any pain?
How is your breathing?
Can you tell me about your diet? What does a typical meal look like for you…especially a typical breakfast? Also, how much fat do you eat in your diet?

Hello, Yes my doctor treat me for subclinical hypothyroidism. Armour helps only a litle and what it does is that it make me less sleepy, but still wery sleepy comparing to others. I have checked alot of blod levels in asociation with this, the only that has the wrong level is the TSH level, that sometimes is to high, according to a endicronolog I have visited.“”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””

Thank you. I have actually wondered why he dien´t treat me with moxa. I think I can find moxa quite easily. If I do what you did suggest using moxa to those points, wich sounds right to me, but I am not an acupuncturist myself, even though interested in it. I have a few questions on this though:Can I do the moxabution in serial order, first one point then the others?
How long time do you think is needed for the moxabution at those points, is it what feels right or perhaps about five minutes to each point or so?
Are there any dangers doing this to myself?
Ming men seems to be a bit awkvard to do on myself!

It doesn´t feel right with cinamon bark either, beacase I´m wery cold at the top of the head, but my feets are warm.I will go to a TCM herb doctor from China that lives in my town. I think I will follow her suggestion regarding herbs first, then if they not work after I have tried them for awhile, I might check the wery powerful herbs you suggests. That seems to be the right order of doing this.

BTW, even though it is warming (and cheap) I do not recommend alot of garlic (and spices in general) in your particular case because of your spontaneous sweating.

Yes garlic makes me sweat alot! I didn´t notice whether or not astragalus did help agaisnt the sweating. By the way I doesn´t use garlic much thise days, it is quite seldom. Perhaps I would look into those herbs you suggest anyway. Have to think about it a bit more though.“””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””2

I did have a few other questions for you too:You said you used to sweat all night–do you ever get a hot sensation at night when this happens? Or in the afternoons? Or is purely a cold sweat? Does this worsen in the winter or in the summer?
“””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””
Well conserning the temperature in my room while I try to sleep there, I have some hot sensation. Room temperature at 30 degrees celsius is wery hot. I would say that it is purely a cold sweat. It is quite bad all the seasons. I have different problems at different seasons though. This is moslty related to whether or not I get cold during the day. At the spring my problem is that people often opens windows, beacase the sun is strong but the air is wery cold, it gives me alot of problem. Fortunately I work outside at the worst part of this season, and outside when I move around I have not much problem anymore. At the summer I have problems at late evenings or night time, people want to be outside but I can only be outside during the day and perhaps at the afternoon, then I have to go inside when the others like to be outside. I have choosen to just go away from whatever event to my home when this happens, instead of causing me harm. If I am with people I know I tell them why, otherwise I just go or find a good reason why I have to go. At this time of the year I have quite alot problem at night. Not beacase I get cold from the outside, but beacase of the heating system in my apertment. When the temperature goes down at night to about zero degrees celsius, then the heating system is done so that it takes a few days before the system compensate, at least this is my interpretation. The cold comes into the place where I sleep, and even though I have extre heating system, in the room, I get to cold from cold coming true the wall, some lite tiny air. What I have learned to do is to hang up blankets to the wall, which sometimes helps, but not always. During winter my problem is just if I have to be outside for to long times. Or if I meat someone outside that wants to stay and talk to me, I have learned to just go away, even though it might be awkward. In short I should say that it is bad all the year and it is difficult to see any patterns that it should be better at any time of the year.

Do you ever feel cold sensations in one part of your body and warm sensations in another part (if so where?), or is it just cold all over?

Im could at the head. Im cold at the body, mostly the upper part. Less cold at the legs. The hands and the feet are warm. Sometimes I have to move the hands around to get them colder, beacase sometimes they get wery warm in my hot room.At the last year I sometimes got a hot feeling. It happens not often, but it happend yesterday, when I did teach all the day, and at the afternoon around 14 I got a hot feeling a bit unpleasent in the body. It has also happened during a long and hard chessgame for several hours against a much better opponent. This things happens when I am owerworked. I think that the adrenals gives away an extra amount of hormones during those times, and thats why I suddenly feel hot, I think the process is bad and draining. But still that it can happen, it did not happen before is a sign to me that my condition are better than it was before!

How is your urination? How often do you urinate? Is it clear, cloudy, or just normal?I urinate quite often, more than other people. When I am owerworked there is a tendency to leak urin. The urination becames also wery weak during those periods. I havent noticed anything about the colour of the urine, perhaps just ignorance to that matter, I do not know.

Are you overweight or underweight, or normal?I´m a bit owerweight. I do eat quite well today, and think about what I eat and I have also been working with the weigth issue as a part of my health care program. If I eat bad I wery easily gain weight though.

Do you have tightness or constriction anywhere in your body? Any pain? Not so much anymore. But my spoas is wery tigth from time to time, and it is more tight those days I work much, the hamstring might also be tight. I have some tightness betwean the shoulderblades, and up in the neck. The muscle (did forget the right name in english) that makes your upper and lower teeth meet, is always tight. I remember one time when I did a cauldran in the tan-tien and visualised it for a wery long time, that the tighness in the muscle I mentioned above did relax once, amacing after being tight for so many years.

How is your breathing? My breathing is good becase of my univeral tao practises. But sometimes when I work to much, I have more difficulties with breathing in than with breathing out.
Actually my breathing was wery bad and wery shallow when I became ill for about ten years ago. I starded my practise form mantak Chias first book and it starts with 100 abdominal breaths, which I couldn´t do. I continued with this breathing practise for several mounths and learned to breath more and more. I was then at about 70 breaths and one day I could come up to ninty, I wanted to come to 100 and forced myself to continue, get some symptoms when I tried: Like didn´t want to continue, get wery dizzy, several sweating, almost a feeling of wanting to faint, bad moods and even more. At the momnt I came to 97 and when every further breaths was like running a mile extra after a marathon run, there was an explosion in the navel area, and I had to jump into the sofa, before I should faint, I was lying there for several hours, completely exhausted, and sweating enourmously, and after this event I started to be better! After a few mounths later I could start to work for a few hours a week, which before this was completely impossible and after a period of a few mounths I was up to 25% working capacity.

October 20, 2010 at 2:16 pm #35513Ohh.. you have warm feet and legs, but cold arms and hands? That’s different, it could be a few different causes then. Let me ask you a few more questions, if you don’t mind.
You say this problem started 10 years ago… Is there anything in particular that occurred then to you? Like, did you smoke pot and then shortly thereafter start feeling this way, or was it a somewhat gradual process?
How is your digestion? Do you get gas and bloating much? Have you ever had hemmoroids? What about your bowel movements? How often do you have them? Is there anything unusual about the color or shape? Do you tend more on the constipated side or the diarrhea side? If one or the other, how bad does it get and how often does that happen?
Do you have palpitations or weird feelings in your chest? Do you have much anxiety? How is your sleep? Do you have trouble concentrating? How is your memory? Tell me about your enthusiasm levels.
From your diet, should I take it that you are vegetarian? The reason I ask is that there is a remedy that the Chinese use for mercury toxicity–duck fat. It’s better than cilantro or chlorella, hands down, to flush mercury out of your body. You just cook with it however you like, throw it into rice, etc., but just have it daily for some time and you’ll see a big difference if mercury toxicity happens to be the underlying issue.

No, your description of cold and warm parts is a missunderstunding, I didn´t make myself wery clear. I try again:
Feets and hands are warm, sometimes not often, hot. Legs are cold but not as cold as the upper body. Most cold sensitive is the crown I think, or was when I was less good.
Stomach, back, breast or front upper body, arms, neck and head are cold, wery sensitive for cold.

I had a difficult time at the period from 1990 to 1995, beacase I got unemployed and there was not realy any jobs out there. I also wanted to come into an education that I couldn´t start. Huge problems with economy during that period of time, did many tings and was generaly wery stressed during the most of that period, I also had the first cold sensation during this period of time. Then I did start a master of science program at 1995, I was a wery dedicated student with high goals and high results, ended as the best student in my class, except that I didn´t take all courses the last year, beacase then I was terribly ill. Couldn´t sleep beacase I was extremely cold, but still tried to finish school.
I should say the general increase of weakness was quite slow, but the coming of the coldness was quite fast at the end. I also did increase alot in weight during the last year. Not good at pounds, but I think I gained weight 20 kg, which is realy alot.

My diggestion is not so good. I often have gases. I have a problem with hemorods which I have had since about 5 years or so, not much but a litle. Sometimes when drinking cofe I got red blood when I go to toilet.Bowel movements quite normal, I wisit toilet once in the morning after breakfast and perhaps once more during the day or so.
I noticed something unusual (with what comes out from the bowel momewements) -Lack of English word for it- I have sometimes some white dots in it! I have sometimes wonder if there is some kind of parasite or worms in the intestines. Did talk with my medical DR about it some years ago, but he didn´t believed in that.
Ohterwise I think that the bowels wary alot, the color wary quite alot from dark brown to lighter brown, sometimes the shape of it is rather strange, a bit raggid.
I have diarrhea more often than I am contipated, but I think it warry quite alot. Diarrhea can come from drinking cofe and quite fast also.

No, I have not strange feelings in my chest. I have not much anxiety. I sleep well except that I often have trouble with insomnia. Sleep alot though and 12 hours is not unusual. My concentration is sometimes wery bad, related to when I am tiered. My memory is quite as good as it was before the illness, but that is not perfect. My enthusiam level is wery good when I´m not tiered, but when tiered of course not so good. I am not always so enthusiastic about doing house work, more enthusiastic about other works, intelectual works I like much more than practical.“”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””

No, I am not a vegetarian I eat quite alot of meat and like it. I sometimes like to cook vegetarian food, but even then I like to have some litle meat to it, but more often I eat more meat than vegs. Souds greate with duck fat, to reduce any toxins from mercury!Well I didn´t sleep so well this night, I am up late at night 3 p.m when writing this, so better go back to try to sleep some more. Thanks for your interests in my health problem.

October 22, 2010 at 1:38 pm #35517Wonderful. Well, I have a diagnosis and a treatment strategy for you.
The problems you describe are called Kidney and Spleen Yang Deficiency. Additionally, you have an exterior deficiency brought about by the wei qi not closing the pores. This is due to a lung qi deficiency. Even though your breathing has improved, you still need some more work on your lung. SO just keep those organs in mind when you’re practicing five animal qigong, etc.
As for you’re sleep difficulties, if I hear you correctly, you’re waking at 3 in the morning? That is usually due to a liver imbalance/excess that spills over into your lung meridian. The BEST treatment for this is to visit an acupuncturist and have him needle your entry and exit points and spread liver qi. 3 o’clock is also significant in Anthroposophic medicine for the liver. If I were you, I would definitely mention that time of waking to your Anthroposophic MD.
For self-treatment, you could get one of those moxa sticks (see link for instructions) and use it over BaiHui (top of your head, and the strongest yang point in your body) Mingmen, Dantien, Zusanli (see image), and the Yongquan on the bottom of your feet. Moxa those points in that order. Moxa on mingmen isn’t difficult at all if you lie on a bed on your stomach.
Herb wise, I’ll give you some suggested single-herbs that you can try to look for when you look at formulas. Deer Antler would be the number one herb for you, followed by ginseng (Korean is best, although Chinese would be good too), Astragalus, Cinnamon Bark and Cinnamon twig (they do more than what I said earlier about the feet; specifically they’re very good for your condition) and then those herbs should be balanced with yin tonics such as ho shou wu, rehmannia, goji. Other herbs that are extremely important are white atractylodes, and poria. Also, schizandra would be a great herb for you. Astragalus needs to be taken for quite some time and with these other herbs to be effective. It helps your sweating problem as well as raises your qi, thus helping your hemmoroids.
That formula I suggested (Ten Complete Supertonic) contains many of the herbs I suggested, so that’s where I would start. Then, you might consider buying a deer antler product and a ginseng product. I know that company ships to Europe, although I’m not sure the shipping prices. And don’t let deer antler’s price scare you off too much–the results are profound, and you don’t usually need as much as you’d think. That company also has herbalists that work for them if you have any questions. SOrry, I don’t know of any Chinese herb companies in Europe..That’s just the company I recommend to everyone here in the US.
As for safety, moxa is safe, but of course, you could burn yourself with the stick so please be careful. Also, moxa and the herbs I suggested will make you MUCH warmer and the effect will eventually become permanent. But please make sure that you don’t become too hot as you could damage your yin. And just in case you have some underlying yin deficiencies, back off any of these remedies if you start getting hot symptoms like afternoon fever, palm heat, etc. But based on what you told me, you should be fine with these remedies–I feel I just have to throw out that caution for you to be mindful of.
Please let me know how this all works for you!
