Hello Zoose!
I have some but not at all deep knowledge about alexander technigue and also about rolfing. I have to admit that I am not so eager to follow any advice I get on how to handle my problem. That is beacase I´ve already have a plan that includes many things. I try to stay for longer periods of time at the same track, doing about the same health care program to see if it has any efect. If not then I add things or change things. But I am willing to listen to suggestions and then perhaps follow them later on, when I´m in a mood to try new things.
At the moment I am interesting in two things and if you which I can contact you in a more private way, just tell me again and I do so.
1 I´m interested in what your problem where or is and how it is connected to my health problem.
2 I´m interested in the name of the book of Alexander techique you mentioned about.
Thanks for willingness to help me.

The book wasn’t written very well and it didn’t have specific details on how to perform the technique, but it can give you an understanding of the technique, why it is used, and how difficult it is to apply it and why it NEEDS to be applied for illness recovery. Most of the stuff in it i already knew but it took me years to find it out within myself and just reading it just set it more concretely into my head.
Qigong etc will improve your posture so that you will be able to heal yourself but the alexander method is like a western take on it. Straight and to the point not circling around the point as is the asian way.
All the other things you’re doing you can also do WHILE you are applying the alexander technique. The other things you are doing can probably make you heal faster but the alexander technique needs to be applied, or rather you NEED to have good posture and use your body in a correct way that will improve it’s health not diminish it. Doing meditation can help you see your body and open energy channels and release tension to help you better understand how you should use the alexander technique on yourself.
It is very difficult to use but you’ve got a lifetime to practice and your health will improve slowly bit by bit. Lets face it you’re not going to get better in 2 weeks or so regardless of what you do. This is a way to gradually get you better. As long as you can persist trying you will quickly get better but it’s a 24 hr commitment. If you could have use your body properly for a month you’d probably be nearly perfect again but i doubt anyone could do it. As you learn to be able to use your body more efficiently you will heal.
I have a problem with very severe pain where i couldn’t really even leave the house for months. I’m much better now but it still plays up sometimes. It’s very hard to use yourself properly when you are so used to using yourself improperly.
October 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm #35376It’s indeed complicated, but there are real dangers.
Few weeks ago they showed in Finnish television a document about Adolfo de Jesus Constanzo and his cult.
He seem to have had a cauldron, which has been very precious to him.
But it’s very different kind of cauldron that one is after when one is practicing qigong or neikung.
Hey, Zoose you were complaining about some health problems you have had. In such a situation it’s better to strive for perfection and not to indulge.

Ps. One could learn quite much from this direction already from Carlos Castaneda, but who wants to be both madman and most extreme kind of criminal. Jeffrey Dahmer was beside those extreme things which he was known also kind of satanist, though they of course don’t in general want to address such things (The Shrine of Jeffrey Dahmer). Addicts are very easily turning themselves worst kind of mediums.
