If I should happen to die, I would really like this song to be played at the service.
Hi Chris,
It asked to me to “login” when I clicked on it, which I was a
little skeptical of, so I found a 30 second clip of it
online via a search.
After listening to it, I’d have to say that if this song
were played at a funeral service, there would be uncontrollable
weeping. Even a 30 second clip of this–not at a funeral–resonated
feelings of grief in me. Granted, the lyrics are kind of
uplifting, but the emotion behind Sarah’s voice dominates.
What is it about female singers named Sarah anyway?
Do they take a special class where they learn how to do this? 🙂
Blessings,
Steve
Hi Steven,
Durn, I forgot that you have to register with soundpedia.com to be able to hear songs. Since I don’t live in the US, I can’t use Pandora.com at home, and so enjoy exploring some artists on soundpedia.com
Interesting that you found the clip so sad, as I find the song very beautiful and comforting — a case of “been down so long, it looks like up to me”? Maybe I spend too long in the dark, exploring and greeting my suppressed emotions. Thinking that, last night I tuned in to the points in the creation cycle and they were all very vibrant, strong and positive.
Chris
