What I got out of listening to this was 2 notes:
some people want to go be hermits
becuase they cant balance the explicit with the implicit
I like the part in getting the first jhana where he says it has alot to do with letting go what you THINK the universe is to actually see how the universe is really.
So true, everyone walks around with all there many thoughts about how the universe is instead of clearly seeing how it is. And that is a moment to moment, day to day, year to year process of letting go. Hard.
