Does anyone know where to get good quality ling zhi essence? (or if it’s even availible) I assume it would be conducive to any taoist practice, given it’s reputation of enhancing the 3 treasures.
If anyone’s used it, particularly a wild sourced variety, how was it?
In terms of quality, I’m not sure, but I suspect that most of what we get here is probablly the more inferior ganoderma mycelium.
Importing the raw item is impossible ’cause of our quarantine regulations, but if there’s a formulated extract, that would most likely be approved.
buy it in china or hk and then put in your pockets, handbags, etc, when returning to the states. or if you have a friend going that way. it’s also very very cheap.
I bought a large supply of the mushrooms themselves when visiting wudang shan last september.
I haven’t extracted their essence yet, so can’t report. But they are beautiful, giant mushrooms, each one looks like an immortal.
Note I did read that it is the spores that contain the most active elements, so if not picked at the right time any extract might be substantially weaker.

Wow, sounds beautiful Michael. I’ll look into the spores and see if I can get that in capsual.
To spongebob, thanks for the suggestion, but if I put them in my pockets and brought them back here (australia),……..that’s a crime = huge $ fine.
