So Mantak Chia is in Los Angeles this week, which is were I live.
So I’m gonna head out to The Bodhi Tree bookstore tomorrow where Mantak and Dena will talk about there new book. Emotional Wisdom.
I have been aware of Dena Saxer for a while but never have been to any of her classes. Preferring to come to the retreats at Heavenly Mountain really gives me the opportunity to get deeper into the learning experience and really start feeling the chi. But now Ill get a change to meet Dena as well.
I’m excited because I have never meet Mantak and the whole reason I came to discover these practices was from a book that Michael Winn wrote for Mantak Chia years ago that I was turned on to by a college friend at the time. Cultivating Male Sexual Energy.
Has anybody checked out the new book “Emotional Wisdom”?

Do you know the book “Taoist Ways to Transform Stress into Vitality”
by Mantak Chia? It’s an older book written by him introducing
the Inner Smile/Six Healing Sounds along with some scattered
“Taoist wisdom”.Well, the book “Emotional Wisdom” is basically a modernized
version of that book written as a health and wellness manual
to appeal more to the masses. It has a few introductory chapters on elementary Daoist philosophy,
which then motivates the practices of the Six Healing Sounds,
and then going into the Inner Smile. You can check it out on Amazon via the “Look Inside” feature.
Re: Discussion and Book Signing
I think it’s still probably worth going to hear what they say–
especially if it’s right in your area . . . and the
book is relatively cheap, so it’s probably worth the price. At any rate, report back afterward.

You should try to go to the signing and meet M. Chia. At the very least you can try to get a feel of his energy and maybe learn something. As mentioned if you go report back afterward.
Balance and harmony.
