Is it ok to practice qigong right after having sex or masturbating? (Or before?) if not, how long should one wait? Does the answer to this question change if one does or does not ejaculate?
I find I sometimes don’t ejaculate if I sort of suck my belly in, bringing the energy there, or at the same time sort of in my lower back… Hard to explain but it works sometimes. A lot of times I forget to do it though.
I don’t see why not.
The only time I would say no, is if you were so drained after sex/ejaculation/whatever that your body was telling you that you should rest, but your brain had some funny ideas about overruling the body’s intuition. . . . But then this is no different from any other situation where you should listen to your body rather than overruling it with the mind.
If doing qigong sounds good to the body, go for it . . . regardless of the surrounding conditions. Sex immediately before or after shouldn’t be any kind of barrier in or by itself. Before is OK. After is OK. Even during is OK (which is what is effectively going on for those that wish to do Healing Love material).
