not sure, saw documentary connecting Kellogg Brothers, Post family, and others to the Urantia Book…

a real thesis would need to be released on Melchizedek, the Book of Hebrews, Egypt, and what is publicly discuss-able about the Guilds and the Mormons…

in line, the Book of Mormon is right there in questioning, something real but plenty of mis-translation..

but ultimately all are a big distraction IMHO except for example:

    1) multi-verse of Urantia with emphasis on “Order” rather than person
    2) Urim and Thummim of Moroni and pre-deluge tribe migrations

none are doing the real practices that the east is, like Universal Tao, which are what really matter…

real consiousness expansion and internal spiritual development.

In my opinion maybe one of the best objects of study taken with Daoist practices is Carlos Castaneda. I just have recently read several times ‘The Fire From Within.’ It’s so strange because I have impression that I start to understand most of the ideas like what is meant with Assenblage Point, Rolling Force, Tumbler and so on. Maybe I have started to reach some times the level of Will in the Art of Stalking or I don’t know.

This Tales from the Darkside is very far away from Michael Winn’s posting…

I have read TUB once through and some places several times, but one could hardly not notice how hostile it’s towards yoga or qigong type of practices, also any kind of ascetism. It’s long text and quite complicated in it’s own way, but if I would like to learn something from it, I would try to read what is between the lines.

Vincent Descombes’ ‘Modern French Philosophy’ was one of the best books which I read when I was certain amount of months active in the Faculty of Humanities in University of Helsinki. His approach to structural analysis of myths and narratives was especially interesting.
