I just wanted to share a little mini-session/warmup I came up with based on some of the QF 3/4 material. I love the breathing and grounding techniques/postures, so when I moved on from QF 3/4 and started on Primordial as my primary qigong form I was working on, I developed this as a warmup. It is simple and quick and I can do it at anytime such as first thing in the morning or just whenever I feel like it. Here it is:

    Breathing:
3 breaths of Ocean Breathing (natural breathing, hands move with expansion)
3 breaths of counterforce breathing (energy and hands move opposite of expansion)
    1 “cleansing breath”
3 breaths of reverse breathing (belly does not expand when breathing, energy to kidneys)

    Grounding:
Arms straight out to sides: one breath up, one breath down
Arms straight out in front: one breath up, one breath down
Arms in “prayer mudra:” one breath up, one breath down

    That’s it; enjoy!
