Not keeping you waiting intentionally. Just got back to the states.
And unfortunately, the day I tried to fly to visit Wang Liping the part of central China I was in had the biggest snowstorm in a century. I was stuck for two days, and the narrow window of time held by Wang liping passed and he was on retreat after that. So no interview this trip. Maybe another time.
I did have many other amazing experiences on the trip, which I will relate shortly to my newsletter list. Including visit to Anyang, the place where the I Ching’s 64 hexagrams was first created by King Wen. And hunted down the body of a 160 year old Taoist, whose body is self-preserved in sitting posture since he passed ten years ago.
More later…..
Sir,
I’m not sure people will believe the storm story…

Well,
I have photographs of the snow piled up five feet, if that helps. Or search on google for Zhengzhou snowstorm, I don’t know if it made it into the English media.
