Interesting sometimes that western astrology deals with planetary cycles, and Chinese astrology with earth cycles, and they each sometimes fill in areas that the other lacks. There is also a system of Egyptian star astrology, under a program called “Heliacal Rising”, but has since disappeared from the internet in the last five years.
