    Hi

I have been practicing some Qigong for two years. Now I can feel my microcosmic orbit opened and energy moves all along my back to the head and down to the lower DanTian. Also it happens spontaneously sometimes. The problem is when energy flow reaches the middle of chest energy flows out the body. How can I control it’s flow so that all energy stays in the body?

Thanks for paying attention to this.

Middle of the chest, you say?

In the middle of the chest is your heart, so
my intuition suggests that that might be a place to
    investigate further.

By investigate further, I mean using other tools, because
trying to “force” the orbit to do what you what, is not
the right approach. Dao is about allowing.

I recommend looking within, doing the Inner Smile meditation,
spend some time in and around your heart, and your chest
in general . . . see what you find.

Doing some practices to help the energy move downward, such
as the Water Wheel from the QF2 orbit form, you may find
supportive, as well as doing grounding practices from QF3/4.

    Best wishes,
    Steven
