NN,
Great post! Nice to feel your Heart again.
>>(pace Freeform, who says Paolino’s heart is big) there can be nothing constructive coming from them.<<
I agree that pretty much all that comes out of Paulino is distructive. But it all comes from the tension between him as he is NOW and the Love he wants to feel and project. The tension is the same as with the frustrated kid wanting attention from his parents by misbehaving – because attention-as-punishment is better than no attention at all.
I can feel the great love and the great wound in his heart because he puts so much energy into getting attention. Obviously his energy practices have built up so much energy that the tension I talked of earlier is getting more and more powerfull and the energy has to come out in some form or other – mostly as distructive and hatefull – but it's all motivated by the highest level of Love!
This misbehaving game will not end by people trying to reason with him (the game is not based on reason – but on love) or by punishing him – that just feeds into the ongoing game.
To be honest *what* Paulino says is irrelevant (to me) – it's the energy he's projecting – the context – the game he's playing, and the role we are playing in his game (and the role he plays in ours!).
Paulino, why have you chosen this issue to concentrate your energy on? why not the Catholic concpiracy, or what's going on in africa, or in indonesia, korea, china etc? I think it's because you know that this specific issue causes so much controversy! (you're all about controversy – right?) Because you know that with controversy you will recieve the limelight – you'll get attention, and for a short time your heart will feel full of Love – but when the topic runs dry – what then? maybe some impersonation – maybe a few rude comments about me or somone else – but the black hole remains right?
Maybe someday you'll feel fullfilled/empty – and your Love for your fellow human will shine unimpeded by your ego?
I wish you all the best,

This is very usefull for many of the active topics! I really like Huna – so much wisdom there!
July 29, 2006 at 4:00 pm #15767Thanks! Isn’t it amazingly synchronous? I just received it from a friend here. Huna is one of my favorites.
July 29, 2006 at 7:38 pm #15769I agree – and will stop the conversation, not to punish, but to save my own energy.
>>Nice to feel your Heart again<<
Nice to, um… be felt? NN
July 29, 2006 at 9:23 pm #15771ff >>personally I think there is a middle ground – the duality is just two sides of the same coin – when we (collectively) see the coin as a whole – maybe then a major paradigm shift will happen… <<
i agree
i think that what's occuring now in the world is creating the potential for that shift to occur.
this curent tension will probablly worsen until………….it could go either way – flat out destruction of this planet(seriously) or the intensity may reach an unbearable state before it's too late, triggering a spontaneous awakening of the collective.
i s'pose all WE can do is maintain balance and harmony within ourselves, and the neutral space afforded by that might emanate to the rest of the world?
July 30, 2006 at 12:39 am #15773There are many examples of Armed Freedom in nature. Some snakes and frogs have poison. They live free, doing what they will. However, they are always ready to defend themselves. Any insect or animal that has the fight instinct is an example of Armed Freedom.
Things get complicated when dealing with humans. While some martial artists are deadly weapons, the majority of humanity is a soft bag of bones. So we developed weapons. To say that a gun is bad makes about as much sense as saying a cat shouldn’t have claws. Armed Freedom applies to the individual as well as the state.
——————–
Your straw man description of patrist and matrist societies is either intellectual dishonest or lazy. (Sarcasm on) You forgot to include that patrists love slavery and are racists, while matrists believe in equality and diversity. (Sarcasm off)
In simple terms, patrist is win-lose, while matrist is lose-win.
Men compete. I look after myself and you look after yourself and we’ll all be ok.
Women cooperate. I look after you and you look after me and we’ll all be ok.
Mix the two together and you either end up with win-win or lose-lose.
July 30, 2006 at 3:31 am #15775that kid probably could kick all our asses combined.
pity he’ll die young.
working the body so hard at that age accalerates cell division resulting in a shoter lifespan.July 30, 2006 at 4:03 am #15777“There are many examples of Armed Freedom in nature.”
My lung spirit is apart of nature but still needs to be refined. The lung spirit can learn and grow by having a deeper connection with the life force. It can learn to breath internally. I am just say you have to becareful when using nature as the reference.
July 30, 2006 at 11:20 am #15779I’m not saying armed freedom is right, just the best option we currently have.
It seems that when I say armed freedom, people hear “war mongering oppressive conqueror”. But that is not the case.
July 30, 2006 at 11:35 am #15781>>Your straw man description of patrist and matrist societies is either intellectual dishonest or lazy.<<
Not sure how my description was setting up a straw man – dishonest? lazy? please explain. Give me some credit – winning a virtual-debate on a forum is the least of my concerns. I dont really see you as opposition – so no need to flatter yourself. This is interesting for me and may be interesting for others.
The list differentiating patrist and matrist societies was not my own invention – there are people who study this sort of thing. If you find it interesting check out Joseph Campbell he did some research into civilizations past and present.
I'll avoid the compete and cooperate straw man – although I agree on some level, but I dont agree with the conclusions you draw from it.
The fact is that what you're proposing is for us to stay as primarily anal-territorial domesticated primates. And that is what we (mostly) are now – we just dont mark our territory with shit – but with ink on maps (that's the 'domestication'). If we stay asleep and continue to be slaves to our robotic primate impulses, then yes – I agree – Armed Freedom is the only way. But I see that as the pendulum is swinging towards bigger and bigger disputes of territoriality, on the other hand it's swinging back and many people are waking up – realising they dont have to be mere breeding machines and can find and excersise their individual Will. Perhaps you already showed your cards when you displayed your belief that to wake up and become concious you need to be a hermit living in mountains meditating most of your life. I think you're probably much more conscious than you give yourself credit for – but because it seems such a far-off fantasy to become fully awake, you dont see it as a possibility for the whole human race. I do. So I'll repeat a quote that someone mentioned from the Dennis Lewis article I posted:
"A conscious man refuses war. Mutual destruction is a manifestation of men who are asleep."–G.I. Gurdjieff
July 30, 2006 at 12:56 pm #15783I was just talking about using animals as part of your defence. I would us the example of our belt channel, especially spinning it.
July 30, 2006 at 1:03 pm #15785“A conscious man refuses war. Mutual destruction is a manifestation of men who are asleep.”–G.I. Gurdjieff
I feel this pionts to what I believe that flowing with the life force creates win win situations.
July 30, 2006 at 4:30 pm #15787FF
Freeform, this is Extremely well said. Thank you for being able to put it into words.
Yi Tao, what Freeform is pointing out is valid and helpful. I hope you will take it in. (His comment on your consciousness as well!) Your words really say that you want us to continue to accept the old paradigm based on fear, but that is going directly against the current of the times we are in. Consider the possibilities of being whole now, in this moment. Smiles, A
July 30, 2006 at 5:50 pm #15789Thanks for the discussion. I have lots to learn and even more to unlearn.
Currently, I don’t believe the new paradigm is possible unless is it accepted by 100% of the people. And even then, it has to be accepted by 100% for all time.
In history, the plant eating dinosaurs ruled the planet for millions of years, but the meat eaters eventually came. This world has always been ruled by the aggressive use of force. Even if all of humanity can change, the animals never will. Might makes right in the animal world. Perhaps we can be more than animals…
I do accept that reality can be transformed by each of us. We are each a ripple. My ripple can be used for healing of dividing. Smile.
