I’ve always practiced these only two methods.
From my point of view I think that by practicing every day for long time the methods mentionated above one can get a high spiritual level.
I wanted to hear some senior opinion respect this.
I just have 30 minutes a day that I take advantage of to practice.
Maybe am I forgetting my physical dimension by only meditating the orbit and causing long term troubles or maybe I can only practice the orbit every day of my life without practicing any other excercise and never have a problem ?

S.April 13, 2007 at 3:04 pm #21974I don’t since I had one bad experience once.
April 16, 2007 at 12:46 pm #21976Do you use any physical movement with the orbit? My experience is Michael teaches it with movement not only to make it accessible to westerners but to really move the connective tissue where the chi circulates. the spine, belly, pelvis and joints.
The question of sexual energy has little to do in a way with the bad external experience you had. What I mean is the question is about your own inner experience of your vitality moment to moment from down low and not just in the high spiritual places.
And the question is why limit yourself to the basics when they open so many other possibilities to bring your practices into the world?
All said in total respect of your practice. Most won’t give 3 minutes daily so good for you…and these basics are foundational. So much to explore with them. barry

Once I was taking chi kung classes and the person teaching me said that the orbit meditation is not recomendable since it’s a war against the mind and so it’s difficult to progress, I only practice the orbit and inner smile though 🙂Despite the orbit and inner smile are the basics I think that by only mastering those techniques one can achieve lots of things. I only have 1 hour a day to practice, some days only 30 minutes so prefer to master 2 techniques and not a little of lots of them, huh ?
Regards.
