Why?
He had a very good point and I wanted to reply…….April 29, 2005 at 11:30 am #5183Hi,
Sorry Wendy or anyone else’s post that got axed in the way, it’s not a perfect science.
Start a new thread and say what you wanted to say. I’m just keeping space open for everyone else.
Nothing: You have been dominating the board despite being asked to cut it back a bit. I will not mince written words with you, i’ll just delete the post. Whine to Michael if you must but he is traveling and has little time for such sillyness. If you really want to learn something he is in New York City this weekend.
peace
mike ๐April 29, 2005 at 12:35 pm #5185Couldn’T you simply save the important messages & repost them Mike? SOmetimes it takes quite some time before a message is finished, and the thoughts one once had might never come back…

April 29, 2005 at 2:08 pm #5187Sorry Harry or anyone else, i ment no harm or to interupt your thoughts. Will be carefull in the future.
thanks for your patience
mike ๐April 29, 2005 at 2:38 pm #5189Thank you Harry, just what I wanted to say.
I just wonder why this particular thread was erased?
WendyApril 29, 2005 at 3:04 pm #5191Thanks.
April 29, 2005 at 3:40 pm #5193Nothingness posting can be very annoying and childess but if you are centered within yourself and have enough heart it is very easy to look behind that facade. It is his way of trying to make a point. Not the most effective one in my opinion but everyone has his way. Tolerance has its limits as well but look in yourself first. And if you find it annoying ignore it, smile and walk on.
The strangest thing is that this thread was a rather constructive conversation where he actually made a good observation, one I wanted to comment and was usefull for others as well. But I guess some people only saw the word vagina and found it inappropriate… this is just a guess.April 29, 2005 at 3:57 pm #5195Tolerance level met, exceded.
I’ll applogise one last time for any messages that got and / or get deleted in efforts to keep this board available for everyone to use. IF you are in the frey you might get axed by being in the tread. I re-posted one of thelearner’s post below in an effort to keep his message there.
Yahoo has usable group discussion features and there are other discussion sites if this is too restricive for anyone.
Also a note to the many Healing Dao fans, an effort is being made to keep this site useable for your sharing.
thanks,

April 30, 2005 at 12:04 pm #5201EIGHTEEN
When the great Tao is forgotten,
Kindness and mortality arise.
When wisdom and intelligence are born,
The great pretense begins. When there is no peace within the family,
Filial piety and devotion arise.
When the country is confused and in chaos,
Loyal ministers appear.April 30, 2005 at 12:05 pm #5203Morality, not mortality. They all died way back when too. ๐
April 30, 2005 at 1:45 pm #5205Myself, I appreciate your efforts ….
I have had to reach my acceptance of a tolerance level, with other people and myself. I was finding I was getting stepped on a little too much. I am finding an attitude of compassion is good but dispassionate compassion is better. Allows for more growth. And to me, no rules, no respect, no respect – lawlessness, lawlessness …. havoc, havoc – fear. Don’t want to go there. This I find is what is weak in our society with our young people. Children require structure and respect – a safe place to grow and experience. To be able to use their creativity without fear of being hurt or condemned …. but to respect others in this creativity, just as we should respect their young creativity. Works with adults also. Somehow I think we missed this part in our growth in the last 20 years. I also think it is coming around though. Anyways ….. just my opinion.
Thanks for the learning opportunities on this forum and thanks for the teachings.

April 30, 2005 at 3:31 pm #5207Compassion is Compassion, there are no buts.
I understand your feelings, the quickest way to avoid the ‘stepping on’, is to become silent.
A fruitfull way is to increase your self respect, which takes time.
If there is self love and self respect your tolerance becomes very wide and you can look beyond the masks. You can stand the vomit of anger and frustration. Underneath that pain and anger there is so much hunger for love. The world needs tons and tons of it to heal.
So grow stronger in your womanhood, your white dragon is a good companion!
I like your energy and I believe you understand my point. And tolerance doesn’t mean you allow everything to happen just like that, it means you are able to listen beyond, understand where it is coming from and in best case guide it, if you are lucky ๐
April 30, 2005 at 9:08 pm #5209I see one as needing something. One who is needing something you feel you have or you are beyond ๐
This is why compassion is dropped by true sages…
Inner Peace,
Matt
