According to the modern Western medical establishment, one of the things that helps keep the prostate healthy is ejaculating more often. It’s been a while since I’ve been on this website, but I have been having problems that I have discovered are caused by prostatitis. Now I’m wondering if my approximately 15 years of practicing the Daoist methods, the last 5 of which didn’t include inhibited ejaculation, might have something to do with it. An antibiotic prescription seemed to help at first, then it got worse than before.
My emotional situation, happiness vs. depression, got much better when I found a new girlfriend. The prostate symptoms did start a little before we met and I thought it was mostly caused by depression that would be basically cured by an end to loneliness, but things didn’t exactly work out that way. My only other problem is severe chronic constipation but none of the dietary changes suggested by TCM have made any difference there. That’s something that might be putting unhelpful pressure on my prostate.
Does anyone here know of any statistics on what percentage of the general population vs. percentage of the Daoist community that experiences serious prostate problems?

According to the author Steven T. Chang, it isn´t a normal thing to have prostate problem in china if you are 50+.
In hes book he describe a way to massage the area, which seems to be a method which might help you.

looks like qi circulation on the macro orbit during sex to amp up the circuit is more important than anything…
every muscle needs to be worked…
December 12, 2010 at 5:12 pm #36154the circulation loss and discoloration is usually pretty blatant
as is the resultant fat pad which builds up in antagony
this does not occur during pubescent circumcision in the same way
surely it traps the diaphragms and causes a draw up/bunching
how could that not inhibit the prostate and cause cancerous cell bunching?
December 12, 2010 at 5:28 pm #36156Arguelles calls the radial release radion (zi pearl releasing uv + on spins along vertical channels)
but in general same thing as across the room astral sex
should occur across space for current partner-ings, if you notice
also IMHO: women seem to be notorious for picking up on the actual sex happening with other couples as part of their own fertility cycle
as do men, which is at the root of real jealousy
if the worm seems to be dried up its probably because of season and lack of partner on the horizon

December 14, 2010 at 11:07 pm #36160My Hsing-i (or shing-yi) instructor suggests colloidal silver solution as another antibiotic remedy. I asked a pharmacist if it was incompatible with the cipro that I’m on, but they just told me not to take it internally at all. Some people have gotten good results from C-silver but only if they take the right kind, not the stuff with a protein molecule bound with it. Some varieties can turn the skin permanently blue and cause heavy metal toxicity like cadmium or lead would, but I think I have a source who knows what he’s doing with it.
December 20, 2010 at 5:25 am #36162Just taking antibiotics, without massaging internaly to press the infected fluids out, might make bacteria resistant to that particular antibiotic. Or so I’ve heard. One must also urinate after the massage to wash the infected fluids out.
Maybe you could learn, from someone who knows, some reverse yogic asanas (like shoulderstand or head stand – but be careful) to drain exces blood out of pelvis daily.
(You could search this site for the detailed explanation of the above: http://prostatitis.org/?gclid=CLG787bN-qUCFYcm3wodx0ecqQ )
December 25, 2010 at 11:51 pm #36164Thanks for those suggestions. Ejaculation as frequently as possible is often recommended for my condition and it does seem to reduce discomfort a lot but I don’t know what TCM would have to say about that one. I’m taking both cipro and colloidal silver so now I’ll add the massage techniques recommended in the Healing Tao books.
January 2, 2011 at 9:51 pm #36166Aside from maybe considering some direct prostate massage,
which may be helpful, another obvious solution is to deal
with your chronic constipation. That’s probably a major
player and is causing irritation.A lot of chronic constipation is caused by lack of enough water
in the body. I’d encourage you to start drinking quite a
bit more water. By water, I mean water. Not coffee, not tea,
not fruit juice. Water. In particular, coffee is a diuretic
and can cause you to lose water. You can eat all the fiber
in the world, but if you have no water, it won’t help your
colon move; in fact, constipation can get worse. So start
by adding water.Having a daily bowl of oatmeal would probably help, as
well as a daily walking routine, but the water is the key.
Drinking plenty of water, and then adding the daily walking
and oatmeal, and you will get some changes . . .Aside from doing these things, you might consider looking
emotionally within and examine what you are having trouble
“letting go of”At any rate, solving the constipation problem is where
I’d personally focus my efforts . . .As a last resort, if the suggestions above don’t help
solve the constipation issue, try
http://www.drnatura.com
and get a two month supply of the Colonix kit.
I guarantee you, you will start having movements. My two cents,
