Thank you, Master Dog Fu Young for initiating me as a yellow sash into Twicken Kung Fu. I just had a quick question about the six channel meridian crossover attack. What is your favorite technique for reversing the meridian clock? Has Grandmaster Twicken given you permission to demonstrate the second chamber versions of this technique?

Thanks (going for green sash next week!)

Holy Tofu to you Grasshopper. Great question. Best to simply relax at let your time in train in the second camber come out during the deadly dance. My favorite practice to really get the principals of meridian clock reversal down is Dog Squatting on Lotus. This practice just gets deeper as you progress through the 36 chambers. As grandmaster Twicken’s teachers would say “let no man enter your center, and protect your neck”.

Thank you for the help. I’ve only learned a few of the movements of the traditional 64 hexagram boxing form, but Dog Squatting on Lotus (Earth fist over Water palm, right?) seems to me to be the only technique that is effective against both snake creeps down AND Shaolin poison fist technique.

    Thanks
