Hello
I’m starting my fusion practise from Yudeloves book today. We are creating a pearl with the help of two pakuas, one behind the navel and one according to Yudelove in front of the spine. This is strange, it feels like the second pakua should be quite close to the back side of the body around ming men, but to me in front of the spine is farly enough about in the midle of the body close to the tan-tien.
How do you do this practise, with regards of the location of the back pakua?

all the best

I have now practised the pagua and pearl exerxise for several days. The location around the navel and the ming men feels right. I’m not completly detailed in my wision of the pakua, but I definitly feel an consentraiton of my energy into the navel when using it.
Just that

March 21, 2009 at 2:56 pm #30734How I learned to visualize the pakua better is to draw it over and over on a piece of paper, gradually getting a real feeling for it, projecting the visual into the feeling.
After using it front and back, you might try them at the sides, left and right, too and at the crown and your feet connected with your perineum, having 6 pakua’s, fully drawing energy from all directions, have fun!Wendy
March 21, 2009 at 5:39 pm #30736Hello Wendy
Thanks for that. It sounds right to draw it, so that the pattern becomes more real for my imagination. I will try that.
In the book we follow we shall learn to have pakuas at the sides, but not at top and bottom. Perhaps I try to add that to.
You mean a pakua around the bubbling spring? And you mean the energetic connection between perineum and the feets?
S D
March 23, 2009 at 2:26 am #30738Well I visualize it on the ground between my feet and take the energy in through my perineum, in doing so it automatically activates the chi flow in my feet and legs too, so no focus on my feet necessary, but you can play with that of course, feel what it does for you putting pakua’s at your feet, between your feet etc… I just give you my ‘feeling’ of working with it.
I guess you know to rotate them in the opposite directions?
HAVE FUN
WendyMarch 23, 2009 at 4:01 pm #30740Hello Wendy
Nice to hear how you do it! Yudelove have only teach in his book so far to rotate them in any direction. I have not checked out if he later learn to rotate them in opposite. I might try it out, but I let it come naturally for the moment, beacase what I do right now feels right for the moment.
I was thinkining if this practise putting the pakuas on the ground helps you with routing. If I remember right you have written, along time ago in a thread, that the rooting or grounding is your blessing, or something quite similar. Is this practise with pakuas a part of this good things you need. Or have you past that eventual problem behind your big need for rooting. Just qurious.
A completly different subject (I think). Remembering we two had a discussion on the white tigress practise and especially the use of the green dragons, several years ago when I was new at this forum. I am now studying the white tiger or more precisly the jade dragon courses with Hsi Lai and have still the question in my mind, that we talked about at that time. But I am a bit less skeptical about the system and the more I take my time to reread his three books the more I think I understund and are starting to comprehend the practises. What I wounder is if you might be interested to contribute in the discussion again. If so either on this forum in a new thead or in a on going thread at the tao bums. An invitation to you beacase I might think you can help me to understund more about this and to share some new perspectives I might have grasped since the earlier discussion.

March 24, 2009 at 3:31 am #30742Whatever you want to ask please do, I am open to any discussion that I can contribute in some way, so you can start a new thread.
As for the rooting/earth, I moved earlier into a phase the rooting is much less a problem. MY rooting though increased or ‘healed’ so to speak with opening up to the sexual energy. As long I felt stuck in parts of that my rooting was not what I wanted it to be, today I have found a much better connection, surely for a woman it is inevitable and necessary to connect earth-sexual identity-self.
Since I am in the midst of a deep inner sexual exploration and how to give it form in the outer world, your question makes me smile, it is exactly what I am exploring more and more deeply these days.
As for the pakua rotation, it is very wise to get a feeling with them first before start rotating them. Take your time and make them yours, so you can feed yourself with their energy, it is the symbol of the Universe, so there is a lot to eat and digest!!

Thanks. I have one of the most intense teaching periods so I might wait with the new thread and my questions to you. But they will come later. I feel somehow that you might be able to contribute on my thoughts on the wt.

Nice to hear about your improvement in that aspect of your life. I have also problems with rooting. It might have something to do with my mother. I go painting therapy from time to time in a group and I did paint a picture that both was connected to my mother to rooting and to the solution of my illness. So it will be an issue in my life, even though I not understund all of it jet.

Got nice feelings/You smile. Interesting! Do you practise any of the wite tigress practises?

I do work with them many times every week now. The energy I feel varies considerably. I do rotate the yin yang symbol, but in any direction. Yes now I remember that it was a symbol for the univere, thanks. During my teacher work times I sleep to litle in comparison to my need, so the practise might be less energetic sometimes when tired. Sometimes it is energetic anyway. On the other hand I practise alot, during my long travel time to and from work. It feels like I need quite much time to realy come into the fusion practise and make it mine. To draw the pakua migth be the next step. At sundays I have alot of free time and can start with the drawing.
Nice chatting with you

March 25, 2009 at 6:59 pm #30746SD, can you please tell me what the difference is between a green dragon and a jade dragon in the white tigress system? Or is there no difference and those are just different names?
March 25, 2009 at 9:26 pm #30748Hello axtryan
According to Hsi Lai: (But blured up with my own thinking ๐ )
The practises of dual cultivation in taoism is male oriented. It has developed in a patriarhal society. From beginning the practises was more adapted both to females as well as to males. It is interesting to notice that there are wery few women in the taoist system that reach the highest states. That is probably an effect of the male oriented views that dominates the systems. For example the holder of the taoist reality school mr Wang Liping (Dalai Lama of taoism) have two goals in hes life. The first is to connect taoism to modern science and western thinking. The other is to increase the knowledge of the woman practises in taoism.
When a woman want to have sex, she first feel an atraction on the shen level then on the heart level and at last on the Jing level. For men the atraction arises from the opposite direction. They got first horney then in love and at last they feel a deep spiritual connection to theire object of interest. As described by Manak Chia in one or more of hes books. This is the ideal and normal way that the energies affects eachother for women and men. As explained in the yin/yang symbol where one of them is rising and the other is decending.
If woman practise just ordinary dual cultivation she doesn’t got the best out of the sex with a man, compared to other possibilities she has in her practises. There are two aspects that is less god than nessesarily. One is that yin is endless but yang isn’t. This means that a woman needs more than one man in here practises, but men have enough with one woman especially if she is a practioner herself. The second is that normal dual cultivation takes the energy from Jing level up to the heart and then to shen. The woman needs to have the male energy from the opposite direction thrue oral sex.
This is the ideas behind why white tigresses have wery intense sex with many men. She has oral sex with them to take the yang qi into here mouth and got it the right way well suited for the direction here energy takes that is downward.
The green dragons is. A man the white tigress chooses to have oral sex with to replenich her energies to rejunevate her and to start some alchemical transformations. She meets them at the most 9 times each. She on the other hand gives them full attention compassion, perhaps also theire most intence sex experience for theire life. She uses methods to make shore that the sexual encounter with the green dragon makes no emotional bounds betwean the two of them, it is just a matter of sex and compassion and not a matter of bounding. The green dragons are choosen with greate care. They have to be healthy attractive and nice. They most follow the rules put up by the white tigresses and for instance not demand ordinary genital sex. If they not follow the rules or are rude in any way, then the white tigress declare that theire meatings are ower and they are never seen again.
The jade dragon is a completely different thing. He is a practioner of the white tigress system himself. He needs only one woman a white tigress that he is practising advanced sex and meditations with for a period of three years, to get enough energy to start hes own practises. This could be a serious relationship perhaps a married couple, or just an arrangement for three years for the practis. He helps the white tigress financially and with finding green dragons. One of hes practies is gasing at the green dragon where he is looking at the white tigress when she has sex with here green dragons. The three years period for the jade dragon is absolutely necessarily for hem to become a white tiger, he then after the three years can practise alone or continue for a longer time with hes own practises or take student white tigreeses for hes own. The white tigress have genital ordinary dual cultivation with hem especially if he not is completely healthy to streanghten hes energy level. They also have different sexual practises together. They have a relationship that is based on the encouragement for eachother to succed with theire practies as the primarily goal.

Not exactly a tigress…. I belong to the dragon family ๐ the heart ones… so my take on sexual exchange is a bit different than the tigress.
Yes, it is nice chatting, since your nickname is Swedich Dragon, how can it not be :))
