Question on Practice and Eating Food

I found the quote a few weeks ago and have not read the book. Her words are quintessential though, and particularly Daoist, as I see it. Holding the middle place which allows the earthly and the heavenly aspects to merge and be fulfilled through each other is the central action of alchemy. The way she says it it reflects the heart of the interaction without sounding techniquey, and so the words themselves become a potent aid to opening up the place inside us, our spiritual heart, wherefrom we have acceptance and therefore peace and completion.

I think that is why you liked it so much Mat. It put you in a place ythat made all that other jazz OK.

Being very internal now, I had been considereing a very occassional post under a poetic name, just to input something inspiring like a quote, every now and then. Something mysterious and elusive and maybe aboriginal American sounding like “Comes And Goes Like The Wind”.
