    Michael Winn

The traditionof tai chi has long held myths of its origins arising from Chang San Feng watching a crane and snake do battle, and thus inspiring the spiralling movements of tai chi. (scholarly note: this myth is really about
animals symbolizing the hetu and luoshu, ancient diagrams that form basis for I Ching and represent heaven and earth patterns).

Well, here we have the battle of a rabbit and snake, with a rather shocking outcome.

Of course, being born in the Year of the Rabbit, I was rooting for the rabbit, which is all too often underestimated due to its gentle demeanor. My own pet rabbits have already taught me that lesson well – small creatures can pack powerful energy.

    Enjoy!
